this is my favorite podcast!! she ra is such a special show for me, and my neurodivergent self loves to pick apart every part of my favorite pieces of media so i love hearing you guys also do that. the professor smartbrain moments have also introduced me to/spurred further interest in so many random topics (i got so excited when you started talking about lotr in the battle of brightmoon ep because wow, TWO of my hyperfixations at once?) as a younger queerling i also love to hear you guys’ little queer elder moments, especially since she ra is such a source of queer joy and hope for me already outside of this podcast. sorry for the rant but anyway i love all the gay screaming and random tangents thank you guys

This podcast is absolutely incredible. I love the vibe and connection between the two hosts and I LOVE how deeply they analyze the show. This show is phenomenal and this podcast does it justice. Keep up the great work!!! *** Just wanted to update, still an amazing podcast and great vibe between you both. I do feel as if y’alls criticism of Mermista and Perfuma in relation to Entrapta in Launch was a little much. Everyone is fallible, even Princesses. In moments of danger and extreme stress we usually aren’t at our best. We all know the harshness of Mermista/Perfuma in those moments isn’t their default state and while their criticism of Entrapta may have felt harsh and uncomfortable to hear, they are allowed to have their feelings. You acknowledged they weren’t at their best but also did a bit of “yes this but this I can understand this but also still this and it’s not cool.” Y’all are also allowed to have feelings but expecting constant “eternal grace”, especially from Perfumia, and having disappointment aimed at her for not living up to that perfectionism isn’t really fair. You take away her autonomy. Princesses are fallible and putting them on an emotional pedestal only to be disappointed when they inevitably fall short is just a self-fulfilling prophecy. Life isn’t perfect, it’s “clunky” at times, we all need to extend grace to the people we care about.
