    Trav Beckley chats with Beckworth Racing coach and athlete Dave Fawkes about his preparation for the inaugural Geelong Marathon this September. We chat about the current running boom, the popularity of local run clubs, the vibe about the event here in Geelong and we discuss the race course itself. Lee Troop has spent 8 years trying to get a marathon in Geelong and finally he has done it!! We thank him for his persistence as we are sure this will be a weekend to remember.     Episode 71: Bryce Leen Roth Recap

    Trav Beckley chats to Bryce Leen who travelled to Germany to experience and race Challenge Roth!! Bryce talks us through his build, some health challenges in the lead up and then recaps the race itself. Bryce describes what it is like to ride Solar Hill with the mass crowd cheering your every pedal stroke. From the highs of riding Solar Hill to the reality of running a tough marathon when starting to feel ill. Bryce explains his full race experience. Grant has been working behind the scenes alongside Adam Beckworth on our training program with some of the 70.3 and full distance IRONMAN races later this year in mind. Grant shares with us some of the sessions that are included in the program and discusses the WHY, WHEN and HOW they are included. Grant is passionate about seeing athletes reach their potential and achieve their goals on race day.     Episode 69: Natalia King

    Trav Beckley chats with Natalia King who resides in New Zealand about her full triathlon and trail running journey to date. This podcast has been 2 years in the making. In a rare event, we actually go from the start to present day and discuss all the epic events along the way. Some of the highlights are discussing Natalia's first 70.3 in Cairns, the IRONMAN World Champs in Nice, France and what it is like running in a 100 mile trail race.     Episode 68: IRONMAN Cairns Race Recap

    Trav Beckley and Anthony Devlin chat all thing IRONMAN Cairns and 70.3. The boys recap the whole day, including the conditions, the highlights and the standout performances. Trav also chats with Nathan Taylor after winning his age group over the IRONMAN distance. Nath takes us through his build and the challenges he faced throughout. Nath also recaps his race and tactic it took to take the win. Finally we caught up with a few athletes whilst at the awards and roll down ceremony for a quick chat about their race. It was a fantastic IRONMAN up here in Cairns and we will be back next year.

    Episode 67: IRONMAN Cairns (Pre Race)

    Trav Beckley is up in Cairns supporting our 25 athletes as 19 take on the full distance IRONMAN and 6 doing the 70.3. This podcast has been recorded on the Friday before the race, as the squad do a race brief, shake out run and finally a short swim at the Tobruk Memorial Pool in Cairns. Trav chats with Mark Smith ahead of his 9th full distance IRONMAN and interview some of the athletes after our run and swim. The atmosphere here in Cairns is building and we can't wait for race day.     Trav Beckley and Anthony Goss sit down with former AFL footballer now triathlete Luke Delaney to discuss his transition from elite sport to now age group IRONMAN training. Anthony (Gossy) is Luke's coach so it made sense to chat about the build towards Luke's first IRONMAN just 3 weeks away at Cairns. Luke shares with us a bit about his AFL background, the difference in training methods, and what he has found easy as well as challenging since taking on triathlon.
