Are You Crazy?

In “Are You Crazy?” S5 / E78 of I Took a Right Turn: After our usual comments on the weather in the Promised Land then we move on to speaking about our need to be steadfast in prayer. We should stand on His Word and as we branches stay united with the Vine ask in Jesus’ Name and receive. Everything We See is Part of God's "Let it Be."

In “Everything We See is Part of God’s 'Let It Be'” S5 / E 77 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up talking about the weather here in the Promised Land, it’s beautiful Autumn weather. Warm for October we are in the 70’s during the day and 50-60 at night. Lately Robert has been taking walks wearing nothing heavier than a T-shirt and for late October that is unusual, but pleasant for the middle of North America. We then talk about praying as we have for the lost several weeks. Robert recommended reading Andrew Murray on Prayer. It is a godly work and if we will let it, it can guide us into a deeper relationship with God and a desire to meet Him in prayer. We ask for prayers and remind people they can send their prayer requests to us through our website www.itookarighturn.com Our musical portion of the podcast begins with a rousing song we have been playing in revivals and prayer meetings for decades, He Set Me Free. We follow that with an old song that has blessed generations of believers and led multitudes toa renewed appreciation for what Christ has done in their lives, Jesus I’ll Never Forget. Then comes a song that came to us from our time in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Hallelujah I Want to Sing All About it. This is a song which if we can keep it in our heart will help us whenever we feel as if the battle is too hard or the road too steep. Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs, one that was inspired by Christ’s confession of Who He really is, I Am. Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to Genesis 1:1. Come To Me

In “Come to Me” S5 / E76 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up talking about the weather here in the Promised Land, Autumn is here. The leaves are changing colors and there is a cold snap in the air. Lawn mowing has been replaced by mulching the 780 billion tons of leaves that fall from our many trees. We have just returned from a trip out west and can report that the roads are full, the weather is everywhere, and the scenery is beautiful. I Am Who I Am

Our Father

Our weather report talks about the continuing rain which continues to slow down the harvest and flood the Promised Land. We continue to speak about our burden for the lost, pleading with anyone who will listen to accept Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Fooling Yourself

In “Fooling Yourself” S5 / E 71 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up talking about the weather here in the Promised Land, we’re moved out from under what our weatherman has promised is this summer’s last Heat Dome with extreme heat and humidity. And now the Latter Rains have come. It’s been raining for a few days, and it is predicted to rain every day for the next week. The other night we got 7.5 inches of rain which is extreme for our environment. We know others experience much more than that all the time, but what is normal in one place is unusual in another. We then talk about praying for the lost and allowing God to guide into a deeper relationship with Him.
