    Episode #42 - Timothée Chalamet / Bruce Springsteen (with Nick Bihm)

    Timothée Chalamet has a famous aunt and uncle who got him into LaGuardia Airport but this week's guest, Nick Bihm of the "Dan4Lyfe" podcast, joins us entirely based on merit. Listen as Nick shows the gang his SNL Google doc which includes his favourite Kenan Thompson sketches. Generally everyone liked this episode of SNL which means no one knows quite what to do with themselves. Along the way there's a big digression about All That and The Amanda Show, as well as speculation as to whether or not Max Weinberg and Questlove chatted during the goodnights about what it was like to be the bandleader for the 12:37 NBC "Late Night" franchise. All the featured players got some solid roles last night, including Andrew and Punkie who have been gasping for airtime, if you will. So that was nice. We wish all our listeners a Happy Hanukkah and hope you join us again next week for our farewell to 2020 episode!

Everyone has some choice 4 letter words for Morgan Wallen, Sean reminisces about how things on SNL were just a little bit simpler back in his day, and Brendan makes an embarrassing confession about laughing at one of Michael Che's Update jokes. But what you'll REALLY want to know is which Jason Bateman movie young Bram attended the world premiere of. It wasn't Office Christmas Party, but we sure talked a lot about that movie considered JB was not on the show to promote it. No one mentions Ozark. See ya next week!     Episode #39 - Adele / H.E.R. (with Deirdre Crean)

    Should we give up, or should we just keep chasing podcasts?  Musician/dental assistant’s friend Deirdre Crean from the Mike Myers Movie Club stops by to talk about the Adele-hosted SNL. Deidre explains if and how Adele gets paid for singing her own songs on television, Beth reveals the Oklahoman equivalent of a skyscraper, Brendan drops obscure architectural trivia for some reason, and Bram teases the listeners with an epic song parody idea that he will not go into further details on. Plus, just in time for spooky season, everyone has way too strong of an opinion on how to pronounce the title of the movie “Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later”. Whether you’re in Bad, Iowa or Nothing, Kansas, it’s important to vote for Joe Biden on November 3rd. That’s it. No punchline. The world is burning and democracy is on life support.

    Reboot fever continues! Following their lengthy legal dispute over the podcast’s ownership (and countless NDAs), hosts Bram Benderoff and Brendan Noel are back, now joined by musical guest and baby in residence Beth Benderoff (no relation). In their season 46 preview show, the trio try to predict just what an SNL season produced in Studio 8H during the COVID-19 pandemic will look like. There’s talk about whether the show’s largest ever cast (20!!) will overwhelm the three new featured players – Andrew Dismukes, Lauren Holt, and Punkie Johnson – and our regret to inform you that the celebrity cameos are at it again. Plus, the stupid co-hosts reflect on SNL’s last presidential election season and how overconfident they all were that Hillary would win instead of playing “Hallelujah” on the piano in a somber cold open.
