    MCU phases 5 & 6 - what's there to get excited about?

    Look at that, we made it to a second episode after our hiatus. It might become a thing...again! We took the time to go back over Marvel's SDCC announcements regarding all the planned tv and movie releases for their next two phases.     Reboot or Relaunch? The recent Star Wars series on Disney + gets the breakdown from us.

    Is it a reboot? A relaunch? A season 2? Whatever it is, it means we're back! Now in a brand new visual medium too, so not only can you listen to us, you can watch us ramble also! We wanted to dig in to the new phase announcements from the MCU, but we also wanted to talk a little Star Wars as well. Guess what? MCU had to wait until next episode (sorry not sorry). We've dropped the segments and chose to go forward with straight riffing on our and your interests within the Disney/MCU/Lucasfilm world. Sit back and enjoy.

    Is This Really The End?

    Fully Loaded Finales, we've decided to go big and bold with this final episode before we take a summer break!   WHATCHA WATCHING: Hayden gets through most of 'Single Parents', and moves straight on to 'Ugly Betty'.  He found himself reading a lengthy 'Lord of The Rings' anniversary article and finishing it off with an MCU/Deadpool/Korg YouTube review video.  Justin jumped off into outer space with Chris Pine in his latest science fiction blockbuster 'The Tomorrow War' and urges everyone to not sleep on this film!  He was also blown away by Kevin Hart and 'Fatherhood', and took on a suggestion from one of our listeners 'The Kids are Alright'! We dissect Deadpool and Korg reacting to a new Ryan Reynolds film, and get in a deep dive of what it means for Deadpool's future in the MCU. THE WEEK THAT WAS...SEGMENT: - Marvel Cinematic Universe has how many shows coming up (we talk about them a lot, but still are surprised by the number of shows coming!) - Bill Murray and Wes Anderson together again. - Antonio Banderas and Indiana Jones 5 - Sammo Hung and the 'Seven Little Fortunes' - New Star Trek film in the works! - Taika Waititi has more words on the how the filming of 'Thor: Love and Thunder' has gone THE RETURN OF SPEED QUOTES: No competition this time, just a a Marvel specific turn for turn this go round.   RETURN OF THE J-POLL Justin drops a more friendly poll question this week.     The Penultimate Journey into the Void

    Welcome back everyone, a day later than usual and for that we apologise!   WHATCHA WATCHING: Hayden finally finishes 'Empire'.  He dabbles in 'Raising Hope' some more, while also finding time to fit in 'Single Parents' Justin on the other hand, lends his time to catching up with family after some long over due time apart (curse those global pandemics). Though he does manage to squeeze some Metallica documentaries in there with 'Some Kind of Monster' THE WEEK THAT WAS...SEGMENT: - Universal Pictures makes an exclusive deal with Peacock streaming service. - Black Widow finally hits screens and streaming and makes huge numbers for Disney/Marvel Studios. - Tom Hardy gets his due with story credit on Venom: Let There Be Carnage - Hugh Jackman throws the internet into a tizzy with Wolverine and Kevin Feige photos!
