    The Two Screams (A solo episode)

    On a very special  Warporn Podcast, Gene brings us a solo episode detailing two of the most pivotal moments in his adult life and the impact they had on him. "The Two Screams" is the story of inter-generational trauma, alcoholism, heavy metal and self-empowerment. Originally intended to be the opening chapter of a memoir he never quite got around to writing (yet), the story basically serves as his own superhero origin narrative. We will be back next week to overanalyze whatever Marvel property catches our eye in the next few days but for now enjoy this brief one-shot!

    It only took 28 episodes, but we finally decided to cover a war movie. Saving Private Ryan was trending over the weekend, so we thought we'd look back on this cinematic legacy. Come join us for a discussion where Pat deflects with humor while Gene gets progressively sleepier!  One of our most comedic episodes, because what better way to process all these war feelings than a juvenile fart joke. At some point, we get into some great discussions about the matter at hand.

    Breaks are Important (A solo episode)

    A special episode this week with just me, Patrick, the person who usually writes these descriptions in the third person. I gave Gene the week off because he's a hard-working lad, and he deserves it. So please enjoy a solo episode about coming home from Afghanistan, and how that experience feels similar to today, as we see the end of the tunnel with Covid. Not a terribly long episode, but I hope it'll hold you over till next week when we tackle our first actual war film. It's gonna be a real goof.
