    What is Sexual Dysfunction? and how it affects both men and women? Depending on the root cause of the dysfunction--whether it may be nerve damage, tissue and/or blood vessel damage, or another underlying condition such as diabetes that is causing the dysfunction--stem cells with other nutrients are administered intravenously (IV) as well as transplanted directly to the area.     Stem Cell Healing Institute - Healing any type of Diabetes with Stem Cells Therapy

    What is diabetes? Diabetes is a condition where the body has problems to control blood sugar levels. There are two main types pf diabetes. In diabetes type 1, the body has an immune response to it's own beta cells and damages and destroy said cells. In diabetes type 2, is when not enough insulin is produced or the insulin that is produced does not work properly making the body's cell insulin resistant. Type 2 diabetes is manageable with the proper diet and exercise in most cases whereas type 1 diabetes requires that patients test their blood sugar levels regularly and administer insulin as necessary through an injection or a pump. How can Stem cells help with diabetes? Adipose derived mesenchymal cells, the cells we use at SCHI, are multipotent cells that can generate multiple cells lineages, including beta like cells. The cells are injected into the patient where they will allocate to the pancreas and either support the repair of beta cells in the patient or ideally differentiate into beta cells themselves which would then regulate the levels of insulin in the patient's body. Depending on the severity and the type of diabetes the patient has, the treatment, amount of cells and number of times the procedure is repeated and the results will vary. We will continue developing our technology so we will hopefully be able to offer our patients the possibility of extracting biliary tree mesenchymal stem cells, which are already pancreatic progenitors which would see the efficacy of the treatment increase.

    Stem cells have been shown to be very effective in degenerative arthritis and sports injuries. Arthritis involves the breakdown of articular cartilage as the result of disease and/or damage similar to cartilage damage of sports injuries. Stem cell therapy is increasingly being used for arthritis and sports injuries and is very effective in not only alleviating pain, but regenerating the damaged cartilage or tendon.  Many professional athletes are now turning to stem cell therapy to treat there injuries and see faster results and recovery.  Depending on the patient and their needs, we use a combination of  stem cell therapy combined with the growth factors in PRP, along with hyaluronic acid (if indicated) to treat their ailments.
