    Josh Terry’s Open Mic - Episode 2

Welcome to Episode 2 of Josh Terry’s Open Mic, filmed live on October 28th at Live Oak in Nashville, Tennessee. No auditions. No follower-count requirements. No industry politics. Just 10 artists, one stage, and one opportunity to prove they’ve got what it takes. The rules are simple: The first 10 artists to sign up get the stage, perform one full original song, and then hear exactly what I think. And Episode 2 proved that you never know what’s going to happen when you hand somebody a microphone. Some artists came ready to make a statement. Others had something to prove. We heard incredible original music, saw some serious talent, and had a few moments that reminded everybody why we don’t sugarcoat anything around here. No scripts. No rehearsed reactions. No participation trophies. Some artists might agree with my feedback. Others might think I’m completely out of my mind. But that’s the beauty of Open Mic. This isn’t about telling everybody they’re a star. It’s about giving artists a real opportunity, a real audience, and an honest opinion. One stage. One song. One honest opinion. Now it’s YOUR turn to be the judge. Who had the best original song of Episode 2? Who deserved more credit? And where did I get it completely wrong? Let me hear it in the comments. Don’t hold back. I sure didn’t.
