Each week we will watch a horror movie and then talk about what scared us the most, or should we say what scared Jena the most.

    Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark: Film vs. Alvin Schwartz

    In this episode, we watched the movie, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and compared it to the classic short stories written by Alvin Schwartz. We talk about the folklore from which the stories originated and discuss the monsters in the illustrations by Stephen Gammel and the adapted ones in the film.     House of 1,000 Corpses: Rob Zombie and Gore

    In this next Halloween episode, we watched a cult classic, House of 1,000 Corpses. Even though there is no counterpart to compare this movie to, we still have lots to say about the making of the movie, Rob Zombie himself, and gore in film.
