    382. You're NOT Dumb

If you are like me you probably felt like people thought you were dumb when you were younger. Maybe you have learning disabilities and didn't do good in high school. Maybe your own parents told you that you are dumb and you won't amount to much. I am here to tell you, YOU"RE NOT DUMB! You may need to learn in a different way, but you're not dumb. You might even consider yourself dumb, but I do not believe that you are dumb and I don't believe you have to stay feeling as though you are dumb. Today Aaron talks about the Lawn Care University. What it is and how to use it so that you become a well rounded business owner and person.  **Please give the podcast a 5 star rating and review in Apple Podcasts.** If you would like to be interviewed on the pod please send me an email and let me know. 381. Hustle Culture is Killing Your Family

Our culture today tells men specifiaclly that if they aren't making 150k - 200k per year that they aren't worth anything. That is a lie, but because so many people believe this we have a whole culture that is out there trying to get the bag and leaving their family in the dirt whether they realize it or not. Today's episode talks about hustle culture and the damage it did to my family and what I had to do to fix it.  **Please give the podcast a 5 star rating and review in Apple Podcasts.** If you would like to be interviewed on the pod please send me an email and let me know. 380. The Failure of My Business: What Happens When You Take Your Eye Off the Finish Line

A good runner never stops envisioning the finish line. A great runner fixes his eyes on the finish line but also thinks about all the little machanics of running from his shoes to each foot fall. Trying to move the body as efficiently as possible to waste the least amount of energy. This is not what I did in my lawn care or driveway repair business.  **Please give the podcast a 5 star rating and review in Apple Podcasts.** If you would like to be interviewed on the pod please send me an email and let me know. 379. Vacation is Proof of a Healthy Business

Many solo lawn care business owners have the belief that they can't take a vacation in the middle of the summer. They think that if they do it will negatively impact their business and cause them to fail. A vacation is NOT what is going to cause your business to fail. In fact, if your business fails because you take a vacation, there is something else wrong with your business.  **Backed by EARTHAPRO** Visit www.earthapro.com Use CODE mowinginthedark25 at checkout to get 25% off your first year! 378. How Do You Handle A Huge Mistake?

I recenty had to go back and resurface a gravel driveway that I put new gravel on last year. This was a huge mistake in my business and resurfacing cost 3 times as much as the original job. The real kicker is that I had to cover all the cost of the new aggregate. This was such a costly mistake, but instead of ignoring the problem or trying to find a way to get the client to pay for my mistake, I just manned up and took it on the chin. How should we handle major mistakes in our business?  **Backed by EARTHAPRO** Visit www.earthapro.com Use CODE mowinginthedark25 at checkout to get 25% off your first year!
