Episode 192: "Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens" (2015)

Welcome Back Radical Ones! ⚡ STAR WARS SUMMER continues and we blast more than 30 years into the future as Ryan and David take on "Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens!" A new generation has arrived, the First Order is rising, Luke Skywalker is missing, and Rey, Finn, Poe, BB-8, and Kylo Ren are stepping into a galaxy filled with some very familiar faces. But the real question is… has the Force awakened something in David?! Because he has A LOT to say this week, and one thing is already very clear: David is NOT impressed by Snoke. And here’s what makes this next chapter of Star Wars Summer even more fun: David has absolutely NO CLUE what happens in this upcoming trilogy. No spoilers, no idea where Rey’s story is going, no clue what’s coming for Kylo Ren, Luke, Snoke, or anyone else. Ryan knows what’s ahead. David does not. And we’re going to experience every twist, reaction, complaint, and “WHAT?!” right along with him. Grab your lightsaber, hop aboard the Falcon, and join us as Star Wars Summer officially enters the sequel trilogy with The Force Awakens! “Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes place 30 years after the fall of the Empire as a new threat, the First Order, rises. Desert scavenger Rey and defecting stormtrooper Finn join Han Solo and Chewbacca in a desperate quest tied to the missing Luke Skywalker. Mixing nostalgic elements with fresh characters, thrilling action, and visual spectacle, it’s widely regarded as an exciting, if familiar, chapter that reinvigorated the saga." Stars: Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Max von Sydow.
