Join Host and Archivist Mary Powder, and Associate Producer Anna Ashoona as they reunite Inuit with stories from CBC North’s vast Inuktitut language archives by replaying them for the descendants of the original storytellers, some of whom are hearing them for the very first time.

Guy Kakkianiun of Kugaaruk clearly remembers the first time he saw an airplane, and other new objects like candy, gum wrappers, skidoos, and cigarettes. When Mary plays this story for Guy’s daughter Teresa, she opens up and shares more about her fathers life.
