Payments business Mangopay was launched in 2013. Two years later it was acquired by French bank Crédit Mutuel Arkéa and in 2022 was purchased by private equity firm Advent International. The takeover of Nethone followed, adding cybercrime protection to Mangopay's suite of services, and this was itself followed by the purchase of Irish payments startup WhenThen. Mangopay offers modular payments infrastructure for eCommerce platforms and online marketplaces.
