When God Calls You to Build - Pastor Alec Bell, Nate Arce & Caroline Samuelson

Before God ever called Nehemiah to build a wall, He gave him a burden. Real kingdom impact doesn't begin with talent or opportunity—it begins with a heart that's willing to be moved by what moves God. In this message, we'll learn from Nehemiah's journey as he carried a burden, waited on God's timing, sought His direction, and rallied others to accomplish something bigger than himself. If you've ever wondered what God is calling you to build, this message will challenge you to embrace the burden, trust the waiting, and step forward in courage—because God never calls us to build alone. Key Takeaways: God often gives you a burden before He gives you a blueprint. Waiting isn't wasted—God develops you while you wait. Prayer brings clarity, and clarity produces courage. You weren't designed to build alone; community is part of God's plan. Jesus is our true Cornerstone, empowering us to build lives that last.

School of the Prophets - Put Down the Knife - Pastor Tyler Gay

What do we do when God's Word confronts us with something we don't want to hear? In Jeremiah 36, King Jehoiakim responds to God's warning by cutting up the scroll and throwing it into the fire. Rather than repent, he rejects the message. But burning the scroll didn't change the truth—it only intensified the consequences. In this message, we examine the danger of treating Scripture like the king did: cutting out the parts we dislike, ignoring difficult truths, and searching for voices that affirm our desires rather than challenge our hearts. God's Word was never meant to be comfortable—it was meant to transform us. The same Word that convicts also heals, restores, and equips us for faithful living. Put down the knife. Let the Word do its work. Key Theme: Fidelity and faithfulness to God's Word Big Idea: Burn the scroll, bear the consequences. Harsh words heal. Scriptures: Jeremiah 36, 2 Timothy 3:1–4:5, Hebrews 4:12-13, Revelation 22:18-19
