    He's Our Bastard

This week’s episode is a little different. It’s difficult to talk about wrestling as usual when the wrestling world has lost someone so young and so deeply respected. We take some time to remember Ben Satterley — known to wrestling fans around the world as PAC and, during his WWE years, Neville — following his heartbreaking passing at just 40 years old. Rather than simply focusing on the headlines, we talk about the wrestler behind them: his incredible career, the matches that made him special, his unmistakable character, and the countless stories being shared by the people who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. What has been especially moving is just how many people have come forward with memories of Ben — not only celebrating his extraordinary talent inside the ring, but remembering him as a friend, a husband, a colleague and, above all, a genuinely good person. This episode is also a reminder that, for all the noise that can surround professional wrestling, there are real people behind the characters we invite into our homes every week. So hug the people you love. Tell them what they mean to you. And remember the good things. Go back and watch the matches. Watch the promos. Watch the moments that made you laugh, cheer and fall in love with wrestling in the first place. Remember what Ben Satterley gave to wrestling. Because as long as people continue to watch, remember and talk about the things he did, a part of him will always be here. Rest in peace, Ben.

    All In 2026

Episode 300 of Dammit Vacant is here — and what better way to celebrate than being absolutely knackered after a massive weekend of wrestling?! Ellis, John and Joe are back to talk all things AEW All In, RevPro and the madness of travelling to London for one of the biggest wrestling weekends of the year. We kick things off with the journey itself — delayed trains, mysterious trees on the tracks, questionable directions, excessive amounts of beer and the eternal struggle of finding the bloody Elizabeth Line. Then it's time for the wrestling! We discuss an absolutely wild RevPro show, including the British Heavyweight Championship, some spectacular amounts of blood, Robbie X potentially being an eldritch cryptid, FTR, tag-team action and whether £17 is a reasonable price for a hot dog. Then it's onto AEW All In, including Mercedes Moné vs Willow Nightingale, Britt Baker's return, the massive atmosphere inside the stadium and, of course, the main event: 🔥 Kenny Omega vs Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship. Was it one of the best matches we've ever seen live? Was Ospreay's entrance ridiculously emotional? Was Kenny's final moment with Will a genuine passing of the torch? And why did the whole thing nearly make Joe cry? We also have complaints about AEW's screens, explosions, camera angles, expensive merchandise, stadium food, seating, weather, children running around upstairs and much, much more. It's wrestling. It's travel. It's exhaustion. It's episode 300. And somehow, we survived.
