EP.061: Preet Chandi - The First Women of Colour to Ski to the South Pole

She conquered temperatures of minus 50 and winds of up to 60 while pulling 90 kilos. Nonetheless, she completed her 700-mile challenge almost a week ahead of schedule, skiing from Hercules Inlet to the south pole and 40 days, seven hours and three minutes. She hopes her achievement will inspire others. I want to encourage people to push their boundaries and believe in themselves. And I want to be able to do it without being labelled. She is an inspiration and role model as the first woman of colour to complete this impressive feat. She said everybody starts somewhere, no matter where you're from or where the start line is.
