Stairway to Spanish

Azael's podcast is clearly the best of the many that I have encountered. It is pitched to the perfect level for my intermediate Spanish skills and includes both fascinating cultural material and excellent information on grammar and vocabulary. Azael's good humor and enthusiasm are evident in every episode. Unlike many native speakers he is very easy to understand without "talking down" to the listener. His topics are always well chosen and well researched. Overall, Stairway to Spanish has become one of my top resources for continuing on the long road to fluency.

I highly recommend this podcast. I am always looking for new ways to improve my spanish. I am an intermediate/advanced student and most podcasts are geared towards those students who are just starting out. This podcast is perfect for me and I am glad I found it. There are many interesting topics. I particularly enjoyed the episode “Expresiones coloquiales de México”. Episodes are a nice length, not too short and not too long.

Love the topics and the insight into the culture, grammar and stories... Me encantan los temas, las explicaciones sobre cultura, historias y por supuesto gramática, que son de mucha ayuda para el español !
