Greetings earthling, or should I say—sup loser? You may be wondering who the f** this is and why is she calling me a loser? Also why is she right for calling me a loser? It’s because you’ve let yourself go, that’s why. You’ve been stuck in negative thought loops, driving yourself crazy with dread and angst about your future, your past, and god knows everything else in between, and you fail to realize how amazing it is to just be present. You’ve forgotten how incredibly wonderful it is to be you. Well, I’m here to send you a divine message. It’s time to put these undeserving behaviors behind us. Yes, us...as in you and me. You see, everything I talk about in this series I'd like to think of it as the advice that I don’t take. But it’s time I take my own advice, and I think you should too. I’m not here to tell you things that you don’t already know, or provide you with answers you can’t already find within yourself. I’m just here to heal, to self actualize, and to say what’s on my mind. I’m ready to speak my truth so loudly that the earth shakes...to give my generation—you guys— a safe space to understand why we feel everything so deeply, and how we can heal from what happened outside of us, by looking within. So get in loser. We have a lot of work to do: it’s time to fix our generation.

    Entrepreneur or ‘Want’repreneur? The Darker Side of The “Be Your Own Boss” Movement

    DISCLAIMER: This is by no means a hate video, an over generalization, or an attempt to put down any aspiring entrepreneurs/business minded individuals involved in this field of work. This is merely a critical analysis on the persons who prey on people’s vulnerability during the pandemic, persuading them to subscribe to a lifestyle they promote; advertising their riches more than the success of the business itself. What’s up sluts, losers and everything in between? This week I’m straying a little bit off topic to our usual rhetoric because psychology is all about observations, and noticing trends and patterns in groups of people over time. And something that has undoubtedly become a trend over the past decade or so, is the “Be Your Own Boss” movement, and the rise of entrepreneurs. Everything under the sun from online stores, MLMs, pyramid schemes, brand ambassadors, full time Youtubers, you name it. And while the idea of quitting your 9-5 for the sake of never having to work for someone again can be quite dazzling to many, it becomes problematic or even cult like when persons in this community turn wayward, and take advantage of others for their own selfish gain. In this episode I discuss this controversial topic with an aspiring entrepreneur, and seek his perspective on the darker side of the “Be Your Own Boss” epidemic.

    He’s Difficult Because He’s Been Neglected: Lets Talk About Men’s Mental Health

    This week is dedicated to our kings. The men who support us, the men who uplift us, the broken men who may be in need of a little uplifting themselves. This is the story of men’s mental health, told from the perspective of women in society; women who didn’t previously understand that much how badly disadvantaged men are in the mental health community, and how they’ve been conditioned to suffer in silence. In dedication to international men’s day, listen to us three ladies, myself and my two best friends, transform our narratives from the typical “man is shit” dialogue, to a more empathetic “but I understand why they are this way” standpoint as we objectively look at men’s struggles with mental health in society. ~🤍🦋

    Lose Your Mind To Find Your Soul: Unlearning the Ego

    This week I fly solo to take a deep dive into the nuances of our mind. The source of our greatest pleasures, and our greatest pains. It’s just you and me today kiddo—or should I say you and me, and your egoic mind? What if I were to tell you that there are a team of men in tin foil hats inside your head that together plot to take over your body, your free will, issuing orders and commands to you at every waking moment of your day? These tin foil hat men govern your entire existence and from the second they suspect you may you’ve regained control over your mind and your free will again, they increase the mind control ten fold, sending commands to your body that you are a slave to them and you will never be free from their wrath. You would think I’m absolutely insane, not so? Something like that couldn’t possibly exist. “I am in complete control of my thoughts and actions, I am a rational person,” you may think to yourself. Granted...but what about that voice in your head that just told you that? What else does that voice tell you on a day to day basis? Don’t you think that having an inner voice acting as a completely separate entity from yourself is a little insane also? Welcome to the human experience my friend, where everything is built upon absolute insanity. Let’s discuss.

    Let’s talk about sex baby   Let’s talk about you and—Well just about every single person you’ve f****d or are thinking of f*****g. This week’s episode is oh so juicy as my specially invited guest Ateion and I take a critical stance on hookup culture in Generation Z. We explore how having multiple sexual partners can be both liberating and self sabotaging to us as we flip between the complex dynamics of wanting a “no strings attached” relationship, or a “it’s all or nothing” kind of love. Don’t worry, you’ll hear us hold ourselves accountable too; I delve into some hookup stories of my past that I’m not too proud of myself, to use as example of how sometimes we can be on the short end of the stick in this dangerous game of life. But we do talk about our parents, our childhoods, and how it affects us today in our failed relationships. This episode features another cross over with Ananias, better known as Anias, of the Cool Unpregnant Kids podcast, and we dive deep into what it means to be a good partner, have healthy relationships, and the role our parents played in the way we express our love language.     Finding Optimism: Self-Deprecating Humor Destroys Gen Z Happiness

    What’s up losers? So glad you could join me on this self actualizing journey, don’t worry I’ll do my best to make it as painless as possible. To kick off my first episode I have a special guest with me, some of you may recognize his voice from another podcast. If you do, you’re right! It’s Joel from the Cool Unpregnant Kids! ((insert shameless promo here)). Think of this as a crossover episode, in which we examine optimism, what it means to be a happy person, or an overly negative person, how this can affect us, and how our humor and speech patterns..are more harmful than you think... enjoy us for 45 minutes of awkward laughing, and Joel’s increasing levels of discomfort upon realizing that he has shared too much on the internet; and now he has a lot to think about.
