    54. Soulchats with Casey Mcquillan

    Life - Separated with 1 adult son. Made mistakes but learning from them. Work - Defence Forces - progressed to Battalion Quartermaster Sgt highest ranking non commissioned logistics officer. Served overseas in Lebanon twice. Traveled extensively in Europe, Africa and Middle East. Sport - Success as a footballer and manager but most enjoyable time was coaching women underage and senior, many who now play for professional teams.     Meet Julie (aka Julesrulesirl), a social media sensation with almost 50k followers across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. In just 4 years, she has taken the digital world by storm, selling out speaking events, mentoring women in business growth, and even headlining her own stand-up gig! Julie's unique blend of humor, inspiration, and motivation is a breath of fresh air. Her journey showcases the power of social media in transforming lives. She also is a massive advocate for cheerleading women in business & standing up for the small fry very publicly. This element of her character will transpire during the podcast when she shares a story about how we met through her advocacy for me personally, even though we were strangers at the time. Now I have the privilege to call her my friend. How lucky am I that this powerhouse is in my corner & part of my tribe!?     52. Soulchats with Dr Richard Hogan

    Richard Hogan impressed me with the work he did on the TV show "Raised by the village" because I am a believer that it actually does take a village to raise a child! So, I reached out to him and invited him on my podcast!Richard is a psychotherapist who specialises in working with families. He is from Cork and, following his English degree from University College Cork, he qualified as a secondary school teacher. His early classroom experiences prompted him to train as a psychotherapist. He has been in practice for a decade and is clinical director of the Therapy Institute in Dublin. Richard is the recipient of a Fulbright Award and is completing a PhD exploring the intersection between psychological models of the family and educational theory, with a particular focus on inclusion. He writes a weekly Irish Examiner column about the mental health issues of teenagers, couples and families and makes frequent TV and radio appearances, including as a regular contributor to Brendan O'Connor on RTÉ Radio 1 and as the series psychologist on the Virgin Media One show Eating with the Enemy. His first book was Parenting the Screenager and also has a bestselling book "Home is Where the Start is". Richard lives in Dublin with his family.     Rebecca, a 42-year-old independent mother of 2 daughters, had resilience running through her veins until life took an unexpected turn whilst in her 30's.     47. Soulchats with Ann Marie Ford

    Anne-Marie Ford is a pal of mine since I heard her speaking so passionatley about early intervention for children with additional needs. Ann Marie has been a wonderful support my my daughter Charley who has dyslexia and has supported me in trying to navigate getting the correct supports put in place for her. Ann Marie is Principal of Scoil Naomh Cholmcille in Tullydonnell Togher where she has worked since 2010. She is married to Andrew and has four children. Anne-Marie is currently finishing her clinical training in Psychoanalytic Pychotherapy this year. Alongside her teaching qualification, Anne-Marie has a degree in Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Humanities. She has most recently completed a Master of Science in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London and a Master of Science in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from Trinity College Dublin. Anne-Marie is passionate about early intervention for children in relation to mental health and education, and ensuring equality of access to education for all children. She feels very strongly about ensuring that all children especially those with additional needs are adequately supported in order to ensure that they are given every opportunity to meet their potential. Anne-Marie has been campaigning on a national level in the last three years for better services and supports for children with additional needs and for their voices and the voices of their parents to be heard. Anne-Marie’s mission is to strive as hard as she can to improve services for children and their families.
