Jephthah’s case- Dealing with rejection, pain, and the temptation to prove oneself

The story of Jephthah is a heartbreaking one because of the tragic vow he made to God and the consequences of following through with it (Judges 11:30).In this episode, I discuss three main things that may have influenced Jephthah to make this vow to God. We also explore how, as believers, we can overcome these same struggles and avoid the temptation to make rash or unnecessary vows. What are your thoughts on this episode? Loud screams- GET ME OUT OF HERE!

I know many of us have been in difficult situations where we tell ourselves "I don't remember praying for this" or "Will this ever end" and the list goes on and on... Most times, God enrolls us in some classes we probably never prayed for (in fact for me, never prayed for) but He uses that to stretch us to become more like Him. if you think you're in that season now, listen as I share my story and I really hope you're encouraged. 2 Corinthians 1:4 who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

BE STILL S4 Ep. 5 || Pausing, Hearing from God, God's Sovereignty || Ruthbeulah || Podcast

Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" When you hear the word stillness, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Let me guess, probably sitting quietly and not moving. While that’s certainly part of it, God is not only seeking stillness in our bodies but also stillness in our hearts. Your body can be in one place, yet your mind can wander into a whole different world, often without regard for where your body actually is. That’s why we have to intentionally, by the help of the Holy Spirit, continuously bring our minds into a place of stillness before God and through His Word. It is in that quiet stillness of the heart that you truly come to know that He is God.

Rest S4 Ep.4 // Obedience, Gratitude, Looking unto Jesus // Ruthbeulah // Podcast

Rest seems like it should be one of the easiest things to do, yet it often feels like one of the hardest. We get caught in an endless cycle of working, worrying, and moving on to the next thing without ever truly pausing. So how do we break free from that pattern? When God tells us to rest, especially in the middle of difficult seasons, what does that actually look like? What should it feel like? What does it truly mean to rest in Him? In this episode, we unpacked all of these questions and more. I pray it blesses you 🙏

The Repair Shop S4 Ep. 3 // Hastiness, Falling, Guilt & Condemnation // Ruthbeulah //Podcast

Hi SOGs,Sometimes we rush so much that we forget how easy it is to stumble while trying to catch up with things or moments we feel we’ve missed. In our hurry, we can overlook the lessons God wants to teach us along the journey, and we may become more vulnerable to temptation.Even when we fall, we must remember to return to the repair shop — at Jesus’ feet — where He can reshape and restore us, instead of remaining stuck in guilt and condemnation.Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."
