Lucy and Annabel

I seriously love this podcast. I find myself laughing and crying with these two pretty often. Thank you both for being so real and unapologetic for your feeling and experiences. I love you guys, God bless you!

Yooooo this helps me get a good cry out. My boyfriend is Irish, and says that we need to regularly cry like cows need to regularly be milked. Also- I am a young woman starting out in the entertainment industry, and Annabel & Lucy encourage me to find my personal power through this.

My dad died suddenly in March 2019. His death put my life into a tailspin and thanks to a global pandemic, it is still a big ole mess. I struggle with grief and anger and anxiety, and the ongoing uncertainties of being a single, 33-year-old woman in a world that doesn’t seem to know how to positively support single women in their thirties. I didn’t have an interest in podcasts. They never appealed to me, probably because I couldn’t identify with the hosts. But there’s something about Lucy & Annabel…. Is it because they are so unapologetically themselves? Because they are here to lay it all out and maybe find answers or maybe not, the point being that at least whatever is on their minds is said? To hear Annabel speak so frankly and fearlessly about her emotions since her husband’s death is such a god-send. For a little while, I don’t feel crazy or alone. Lucy is so warm and understanding and supportive, it reaffirms the truth that there are people out there who actually listen to others. That’s hard to believe sometimes. This podcast has made such a difference in my life. I’ve learned a lot about the entertainment industry and about being a woman in that world. I’ve laughed out loud and cried during the shows, and now it’s gotten to the point where when one of them asks a general question, I respond out loud. (That might be a problem.) I thought about sending an email to thank them but I couldn’t work up the courage. At least this way, everyone can read this and know it’s a show worth subscribing to. Thanks, Lucy & Annabel. Can’t wait for the next episode.

Totally joking but these girls go DEEEEP in such an authentic way. I love it. I’ve learned so much about myself and this is truly my favorite podcast!
