    Digital Boundaries! Have you heard of it? Do you have any? This world is even crazier than it was before and it's being recorded in real time more than ever. Which means we have access to some pretty intense media and how we choose to consume that media is important. What you choose to watch every day with endless scrolling impacts the way you think which impacts the way you show up and we know that has an impact for sure. Being mindful of the quality of your algorithm or timeline is just as important as the quality of people you allow in your life as a whole.     The urban dictionary's definition of Self made: when someone who acquires their wealth/success on their own and do not inherit or win it. It takes time and persistence to become successful and if you've put in the work then that's declared self made. In this episode, I had the pleasure of talking to my girl Yashica, who is a fellow Podcaster (and black woman!) for the first episode of Black History Month—talk about God's timing! One thing about my girl Yashica, she is going to speak her mind and speak it confidently! I know it’s going to be a good episode when I know the edits will be minimal because the conversation is so natural. Yashica and I talk about the complexities of being self-made, the beauty of it, and what it can look like. One thing for sure, and two things for certain: betting on yourself will always be a sure thing, do it.     THANK YOU in advance for bearing through the tech issues during this episode 🥲, One thing tech is gonna do, is tech when it wants to 😒! What I will say is this was probably one of my calmest vibes recorded LOL and on this day Dara and I were both more mellow than our usual selves–that didn’t stop the show as you know ;) In this episode I got the pleasure of recording with one of my first friends I met in the Bay (if you want another glimpse into how I make my friends haha) and the focus was underestimation, being underestimated. We touched on what that can look like (representation!), and some ways that we can challenge that.     I would be lying if I said I wasn't just a little anxious about posting this episode. Religion is a sensitive topic and I honestly never thought I'd do a religious topic on the HH podcast because I did have Church trauma. However, when the stars align and things kind of just work out; you trust the process. I had the pleasure of talking Church & God with one of my dearest friends, Jeremy. This is not your traditional take on Church & God which is exactly the way I wanted it to be. This conversation did some healing for me and I genuinely hope you all are able to take a gem or two, and if nothing else, enjoyed the vibes.
