Life is full of hard things that don’t feel good… walking through dark seasons of broken family, foster care, and miscarriage has cemented this reality. Can God’s goodness be real even in the midst of these seasons? So many people have walked through brutally hard and even bad things, and yet they are not without hope… in fact, they are still praising God for being good. It might sound crazy because none of these things are good. But these people are still seeing how good God is... and they are still saying “He is always good”.

    In this episode, I talk with my mentor and friend, Jamie about trusting God’s posture towards us when His plan doesn’t make sense to us. Jamie challenged my view of God’s goodness last summer and was able to speak into my life through this recent season of trial because she understands so much of how I think.
