This is our first hobby in the internet space, where we have chill conversations like the ones you have with your friends. There are tangents on tangents, lots of laughs (well at least on our part), and vague discussions on our interests and lives.

    Pre-pilot: "Hello, hello"

Warmest of welcomes to the Salte Podcast co-hosted by Sally and Te-Rena.   This first episode is an introduction for listeners about the hosts and the hopes for the pod.  This is our first peek into the world of podcasts and having a hobby in the internet space.  As mentioned, we hope that this podcast feels chill, like a conversation that you have with friends. There are tangents on tangents and lots of chuckles (well at least on our part). A few topics we ramble in and through are a little about us, how we met and began the pod, sustainability and how this translates through different contexts, and 2020.  ... During our podcast we mention a few different videos and things that I will link here:   - Iris Van Herpen on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCesPIV0EchUfPPps3qhLowQ/featured (One of our favorites from IVH is Sensory seas collection - https://youtu.be/pGxia4hkTyc)  - Podcast recommendations found on most podcast streaming platforms: Flights & Feelings by Joseph Solomon,  Thirty minutes with the Perrys by Jackie Hill-Perry & Preston Perry,  99% Invisible by Roman Mars & Friends, Redhanded by Hannah & Suruthi, Crime Junkie by Ashley Flowers, Even the Rich by Aricia Skidmore-Williams, Bible Project by Tim Mackie   - The Lorax found on Netflix.  - Heart Music Group   - 50cent and Jah Rule Beef on Facebook with Stephen Colbert - https://www.facebook.com/GlobalTV/videos/280577989297970 More info about Student Life - @studentlifenz (on all social media) https://www.studentlife.org.nz/    My nephew - @orxanavercoe on Instagram and will add some photos on the gram when I can!   Song by Makaih Beats “Know it (Rnb)” on Free Music Archive   Instagram - @saltepodcast  Feel free to share any thoughts, feedback, or add to the conversation in our DMs. Please be kind as we are new to this and because we want this to be a safe and open space but we don’t play with actual haters, sorry!
