Burnout Isn't Caused by Overwork. It's Caused by Caring.

Facing burnout recovery while caring too much? Find out why overworking might not be the real reason you feel exhausted. Many of us assume that burnout is a direct result of overwork, but my experience suggests otherwise. I have found that my highest effort periods did not lead to burnout, whereas times when I cared deeply about outcomes often led to total depletion. This video examines the distinction between hard work and the emotional toll of intense caring. If you have been struggling with mental fatigue despite not working more hours than usual, this discussion is for you. We look at the specific shift in perspective required to stop emotional exhaustion before it happens. Understanding why we burn out is the first step toward reclaiming your energy without lowering your standards.
