    Episode 25: Life Update and mid-2026 Life Lessons

    I do this for the love of creating, and taking up space. Originally, this was supposed to stay on Tiktok (thus the vertical video), hoping it will be under 10 minutes, but as it turns out, I yap a lot and had to edit a bunch of things before I air my thoughts for the world to hear. Hindi tayo macacancel today! HAHAHA For this first 2 and half minutes, I shared just a quick life update - which I know would shouldn't really care about, so might as well skip to 2:36 where I started yapping about the 9 life lessons I have learned in this past 6 months in 2026. Do not despise the small beginnings, because the Lord loves to see the work begin.“I will not give birth to a life that will discriminate against my gender. My own flesh and blood must not become a blade and turn against me. If the world born from my body oppresses me I will not let that world exist.” - The Korean 4b movementLoyalty is not proven when everything is perfect.     Inspired by one of the plot in the latest kdrama series Melo Movie, and Niki’s song Autumn, I’ve decided to yet again start a yapping session with you. Plastering this thought all over my social media doesn't seem to be enough, and so I made a whole-ass podcast episode about it. Aaaaaaand, probably a way for me to get a singing podcast in 😈 This being the first podcast episode of 2025 in That Bisaya Podcast Chick is nothing short of me being a Cancer girl - emotionally-filled yap with a hint of singing. Now that's the kind of stuff I usually do on the daily.     Apparently, it only takes one new mic for me to pull my podcasting self together, and start recording again. My inconsistency will be my downfall, but nevertheless, I'd still continue to try and strive to push out content as much as my schedule would allow me to. Episode 18 of That Bisaya Podcast Chick is an even more personal talk on how it's like to have loved and lost someone. You think losing a lover only happens in movies, and would never happen to you in real life, until that very same life puts you through it. In this episode, I was able to candidly share how life has been for the past three years. Can there be life after grief? Or a better question might be is there life after grief? And if so, what is it like to be in there? What has life become after the things it - and by it, I mean, life - has thrown at you? A quote that I saw from Button Poetry: "Grief is not a feeling, but a neighborhood. This is where I come from. Everyone that I love still lives there." This is worth 10 minutes of your time.     Episode 16: 26 and Single in the Middle of a Pandemic

    I'm back from a long and waaaay overdue break from podcasting. I hope I keep the momentum going though. So for this week's podcast, and as a "welcome back, it's still pandemic" type of episode, I shared how the situation has been affecting me, and how 26 and single isn't the worst thing for any of us. I swear this hasn't become another self-love episode. Not that it's a bad thing. I just think this should be different, and it is. I also shared how I've come across this conclusions, and how self-reflections have made me to who I am now.

    Episode 15: Heartbreak after Heartbreak after Heartbreak

    I don't know what has finally led me to this point, but I'm becoming more and more open to sharing my love experiences because I hope to inspire and make people learn from what I went through. I recognize that some people may have had it worse than I had experienced but sharing this gives me some sort of release. It's like I'm finally owning my experience, and I get to tell my narrative without reservations, and without having people twist my words. For today's episode, I shared my love life, and how the three relationships that I had has transformed me to become a much better person.
