The 1st Ivy League in D1 Finals - Amanda Hernandez
Today we are joined by Cornell University's Dance Team Coach, Amanda Hernandez as well as Co-Captains Bianca Jimenez & Jasmine Mustafa. This year, Amanda led the team into becoming the first Ivy League school to make D1 Finals at UDA Nationals, a huge accomplishment for any team but especially in the name of the Ivys. We discuss how this team has built it's reputation from the ground up, balancing school schedules, game schedules, school funding, & how your high school dance team experiences can pave the way to a successful future. Let me tell y’all… while I am not a consistent podcast listener, I sure am a binge listener. No matter if I’m driving to a casting in LA or to my contract up in Sandusky, OH, Alex and Taylor never fail to keep me entertained for those lengthy hours of driving. Being a young professional dancer, this podcast truly has given me so much insight and continues to spark my inspiration with each episode. Having both Taylor and Alex as teachers during my experience at TAPS just makes it feel that more relatable and comfortable while listening! Keep doing amazing things, I love and adore you both!!
