Curate Thought Episode #4 - Fulbright Scholars, Catholicism, and Love

Episode #4 is a whirlwind conversation that takes us across continents and into numerous topics ranging from consulting to personality frameworks to poetry. This conversation may touch on an array of seemingly unrelated topics, but the common thread is a genuine curiosity and desire to understand those around us. Kurt is a friend whose confidence and ability to listen inspires those who have the pleasure of interacting with him. We discuss the "typical" and "atypical" stages of his life, his first hand experience with the catholic and protestant churches in Brazil, building an intimate relationship via letter writing and numerous other hopefully, engaging topics. In addition, David and I publicly introduce, for the very first time, the "4 S's". It is a personality framework developed by Bellingham, Bellingham, and Firmin in the Fall of 2018 right here in NYC. Kurt gives us his thoughts on which "S" he is and gives us thoughts on our "S's". This episode is a whirlwind that will leave you pondering love, poetry and personalities!

Curate Thought Episode #3 - Music, Songwriting and Teaching

In Episode #3 David and I sit down with a friend who has embraced the charge to chase your dreams. Wilson is a talented musician who moved to NYC to pursue his passion for playing and writing music. We discuss his process for songwriting, where the intersection of defined method and youthful creativity meet, and last but not least the world of education. Wilson is a 3rd grade teacher when he is not rocking out at local shows in Brooklyn and through teaching has developed a unique perspective on how to impart knowledge and ultimately inspire the people around him. After listening feel free to check him out on his Insta @wilsonwaddill.

Curate Thought Episode #2 - A Conversation on Creativity and Passion

In this episode David and I have a conversation that explores cultivating creativity, imagination and pursuing passion. Our guest is a family friend who started a content creation platform in the form of a magazine that highlights local artists in the Santa Cruz, California area. His business "Respect the Funk" travels to music festivals to capture events via photography/interviews/human connection and then creates a memoir of the time in the form of a magazine. We discuss his inspiration for the idea, how to build space to develop creative thinking and how to pursue your passions without losing the stoke. Give them a look on Instagram "@Respect_the_funk"
