    It’s session 30 of the Hard Dance Happy Hour. I’m Clare Marie. Welcome back. And if you’re new to the podcast, a huge hello and welcome to you.  So for the past 2 months I haven’t had a guest on the HDHH. Last month I had a break from the podcast to go on holiday to France which was absolutely lush. And July’s session of the HDHH I published my mix from the Friday night at the Tidyland Weekender. So having 2 months off essentially I was really excited to have a chat with this months guest.  He’s everyone’s favourite from Bristol, Nick Hayward, also known as Hayz.  We talk about Nick’s music production journey including his official remix of Basement Jaxx’s Red Alert. He helped me to translate some Bristolian phrases which I loved as it’s the most friendly accent in my opinion. We also talk about the recent Tidyland Weekender, and snorting ants and woodlice as you do. And if you’re new to the podcast, a huge hello and welcome to you.  Last month I invited Lee Haslam on to the podcast and what a pleasure that was. Lee’s exclusive guest mix was also one of my favourites so far on the Hard Dance Happy Hour. So, if you haven’t checked out last month’s session already, please do. So this month I had decided to use the Tidyland Weekender as an opportunity to catch up with as many of my previous guests as possible.  I had a quick catch up with 5 lovely humans before I hit some technical issues. Whilst I can’t use the footage that I did manage to get before the GoPro issues, due to the audio quality, I will be uploading the videos to Facebook and my YouTube channel over the next week so please keep an eye out for those. I had the pleasure of having a chat with Paul Clark, Jason Nawty, Adam Dixon, Jon Hemming and Edd Croft.  I did not want to miss a month of the podcast, So instead of a Tidyland Weekender catch up, I took the decision to record my mix from the Weekender and put this out instead.  I had the opportunity to play Room 4 on the Friday night at 1am and god was that fun. The feedback I received afterwards literally blew my mind, so thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who stuck out the sweat box to dance to my set. So, 2 years of the podcast, and 2022 saw the HDHH downloaded in 68 different countries. I can’t thank you all enough for all the support you show me. 2 years of talking to amazing DJ’s and producers of our hard dance scene. I have had the BEST time, and continue to be so grateful to all of the artists and creators who take the time to come on to the podcast. And if you’re new to the podcast, a huge hello and welcome to you.  I can’t quite believe that the podcast is now celebrating it’s 2nd birthday. Where has the time gone? I have had such fun over the last 2 years chatting with some unbelievably talented DJ’s and producers of our hard dance scene. And I’d like to say a humungous thank you to all of my guests for taking the time to come on for a chat, and another huge thank you to every single one of you who has downloaded and listened. I have loved seeing the organic growth of the podcast over the past 2 years and I’ll never get tired of hearing all the lovely feedback I receive. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart. So this month, to celebrate the podcast’s birthday, I decided to bring you something a little different to the usual Hard Dance Happy Hour format. This month I lost control, and the podcast was taken over by one of my favourite humans who I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the past couple of years. The absolute talent, and out right lovely bloke, Mr Jon Hemming. Jon did a sterling job of being podcast host for the session, and I can’t thank him enough for agreeing to do this to support the show and have the all important laughs.
