We are all familiar with the guides that give us tips on how to get over someone we've dated, but what about the person you've never really dated? The one you either crushed on that one time and never spoke to, or crushed on but it never properly managed to get to the dating stage. How do we reconcile the fact that a *potential relationship has been torn apart, possibly never to be repaired again *(the key word being 'potential').  In this episode, discover the tried and tested tips of the Cooch Gang and you won't have to pine over The One That Got Away, or someone like them, ever again.

    Boo! You've been Ghosted!

This week, the Gang explores 'Ghosting' - a phenomenon on the rise primarily thanks to social media and virtual communication. Ghosting has a bad reputation, as the Ghost, i.e. the person doing the ghosting tends to leave conversations, and in turn, entire relationships, without ever coming back to them, therefore never being brought to accountability and avoiding confrontation. Love it or hate it, chances are that you have experienced this phenomenon, either as the one being ghosted or the Ghoster, or both.  Join the Gang as they discuss questions such as what is ghosting? Why do people ghost? And how to deal with being ghosted and prevent your feelings from being completely and utterly crushed in the future. But no matter what happens, just remember that there is no need to be afraid of ghosts. 👻

Can you date someone without being physically attracted to them?

Can you date someone without feeling physical attraction towards them; i.e. is emotional/romantic attraction enough? Is it possible for physical attraction to arise later in the relationship? Is physical attraction overrated and just so 2000 and late?  This week, the Gang discusses the above questions and more, delving deep into the importance (or unimportance) of physical attraction in a romantic relationship and how different relationship dynamics and the personal qualities of each individual partner can turn a purely emotional connection on its head into one that ticks all the boxes, including the one to do with eye candy 👀

The Gender Trust Bias: Who do you trust more?

Has a woman ever made you feel safer just by virtue of the fact that she is a woman, only to find out that she had tricked or lied to you? Have you ever felt like you could trust a woman more than a man because of the inherent trust bias or standard that we, as human beings, tend to evoke towards women? Join the Gang on their first episode of Season 2 as they discuss how the archetypal portrayal of women as 'motherly' and 'caregivers' can give a false perception of how each individual woman, with their own free will and individual upbringing, behaves. By evoking this false perception of an entire gender, women may sometimes be seen as 'getting away with' a lot more than men are able to. While fun and harmless in most scenarios, it becomes a much more serious problem when women are the perpetrators of crime and use this perception of their sex to their benefit and to harm others.

    Do Soul Mates Exist?

What is a soul mate? Do they exist? And if so, how does one find their soul mate? Do we have many soul mates or just one? In the final episode of the season, the Gang discusses the everlasting question of soul mates, twin flames, and 'the One'/many 'the Ones' (143 to be exact).

    The Female Gaze

On this episode, Meli, Coco, Shantell, and Victoria talk about the main differences between the male gaze and the female gaze - specifically, how much influence the media has on how the genders see the world and vice-versa, and the goals and intentions each 'gaze' has in society. They also discuss the theory of the 'toxic' female gaze, where some women tend to pit themselves against each other due to emotions such as envy or the need to 'compete' against fellow women. This version of the female gaze is in stark contrast to the more 'positive' and 'empathetic' female gaze, which suggests that women behave the way they do and dress the way they do for themselves and for other women, rather than for the male gaze.
