    S3E1 - The PHAT Team Do Comebacks

    Like the Freed Man Podcast? Don't wanna be a cheapskate do ya? T had COVID, Adzo bought a house, Phil is making it rain. What a summer. And here's something new - using OpenAI to write these episode descriptions for us. Here's one using the 'recipe' bot: Freed Man Pod S3E1 Key Ingredients: Ukraine Taco Bell Comebacks Boomerangs Vladimir Putin Melbourne Anger Jared Hayne Phil Mickelson Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to Freed Man Pod temperature (375 degrees). 2. Meanwhile, head to your local Taco Bell and order a few dozen Comebacks. 3. Back at home, spread the Comebacks out on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. 4. While the Comebacks are baking, heat up some oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat with a side of Ukraine. 5. Add the Boomerangs to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. 6. Once everything is cooked, assemble the Freed Man Pod by placing the Comebacks in the centre of a large plate, surrounding them with the Boomerangs and Putin. 7. Serve with a side of Anger, Melbourne Airport adventures and a few slices of Jared Hayne. 8. Enjoy!

    December 23, Episode 36: A Very PHAT Team Xmas!

    Bacchus Brewing Series Week 5: Superfecta-expi-ala-delicious!

    Our final in a series of specials focusing on some of Brisbane-based Bacchus Brewing delights. We've had a lot of fun drinking some fun beers, and we're finishing it off with some sweet sweet goodness that Tristan has been looking forward to for an eternity after the darkness of the Imperial Soured Smoky Stouts [shudders]. We're talking the Superfecta TDH Hazy IPA & the RocknRoada Pastry Stout. And because a 'superfecta' is picking the first four in racing, an RockNRolla came out in 2008, we're counting down our top 4 things from 2008. Yep. It's a stretch, but we's love it yo.     Ep 31: THE BAND IS BACK TOGETHER BABY!

    Oh yes. After months and months, the PHAT Team is back together in person again, coming to you live (read: not live) from our Banksia studio. We've already cracked open a few beers before the record, so it's a little loose, but hey, lockdown is over, COVID is over apparently according to No Con Dom, and we enjoying each other's scent again. Vin Diesel makes an appearance, we celebrate all the frontline workers, Italy has banned Godfathers for some reason, AFL a$$hole Jordan de Goey is up to no good again, Phil has a political rant...and so much more.     Bacchus Brewing Series Week 4: Happy Haze-oween!

    The fourth of a series of specials focusing on some of Brisbane-based Bacchus Brewing delights. The band is back together again finally now that lockdown is over - just in time for Halloween - and to celebrate, we're enjoying the sweet nectar of freedom found in a can of Dmango Unstrained Mango Hazy Style NEIPA. And we're celebrating Halloween by pounding down the surprisingly drinkable Winston's Eleven Five Cascadian Dark Ale. So in honour of Winston from Ghostbusters it only seems natural to countdown our favourite ghosts in film and TV, while Phil, er, counts down his favourite Pac-man ghosts. Yeah...
