The Guys, now in their mid 40s, get together at the end of every month for a lighthearted talk about the Cleveland Sports, National Sports and Pop Culture. the Guys rank the 10 biggest stories of the month and run them down from biggest to nonsense. These guys, however, are not experts on, well... anything. They talk sports (and other stuff) like you talk sports (and other stuff).     FTL Monthly - The Guys are Back together to close out August and talk Guards stretch run, Browns season of “smart” and to say goodbye to a legend, welcome back to Ted and friendship science

    Will these Guys ever shut up…? The Guys are back together for another month of talking sports and more in the Land. Gerber, Denko, and Chuck get back at it, startingwith a long talk about the Guards after the trade deadline: their early August swoon, late August surge, and they look towards the final month of the season. The Guys talk about what changed to get the Guards back on track (recorded before the Guards dropped two of three from the Royals this weekend), their favorite new kid on the block, and their expectations for the end of the season and the MLB playoffs. The Guys closed the first segment talking about the close out of the Cavs offseason and their glass-half-full looks at the James Harden trade. In the Second segment (23:37), the Guys go all in on the Browns 2026 season. The Guys start in the only logical place, trying to figure out the illogical decision to name Deshaun Watson as the starter. The Guys also go through theirseries of "hell yeses" and "oh noes" about the roster, the staff, and the future of the organization. The Guys talk about what will be necessary for Todd Monken to be successful and give their predictions for the Browns record at the end of the 2026 season. Things get worse and the Guys discuss another LeBron spurning and what it means for the Cavs offseason moves. To lighten things up the Guys move on to talk 2026 Cleveland Browns, fan optimism and bringingback Desean Watson. The Guys also tackle the growing feud in bowling between the hedge funds and old school bowlers. After that (38:45) – SPOILERS – the Guys break down the final season of the Bear, discuss season MVP, talk about thepluses and minuses for the series and how the Bear served up its final plate.     Well that was an undeserved but effective rest… Gerber, Danko, and Chuck are back! After a 60 day semotactical the Guys are back talking sports and more in the Land. The Guys start the show with a long look at the injured and struggling (somehow still first place) Guards. The Guys try to figure a way out of the recent losing and the factors most important to holding first place. The Guys also talk their current favorite young Guard and where the current starting rotationmay stand among some the organization’s greats over the last 20 years. The Guys close Guards talk with their hopes for the next month of Guards  baseball. The Second Segment (21:30), starts with some off season Cavs talk and a healthy, rational, discussion about Evan Mobley trade rumors. The Guys move on to embrace World Cup Fever with some trivia anda throwback to one of their favorite Founding Fathers based games. The Guys close the segment talk Brendan Sorsby, Jimmy Haslam and likability. The third segment (44:35) kicks off with the return of HBO’s House of the Dragon. TheGuys recap the first episode of season 3, talk best and worst deaths and compare Rhaenyra’s struggles to great teams and athletes who try to reach the top of the mountain. The Guys move on to discuss three new songs that were released during their sabbatical and close the show with the first ever From the Land HIPAA Release. With so much Cleveland sports to talk, the Guys ditch the “and more” from this episode and spend the whole night focused on Cleveland’s teams. The Guys start the show with the Cavs and their first round matchup with the Toronto Raptors. The Guys talk things to like about the first three games of the series, the tough minutes, and the Cavs' use of depth. The guys also try to pick a song that properly summarizes the first three games and predict an end to the series. The Guys come back for the second segment (22:36) to talk Guards wrapping up the cold month of April. The Guys look at the offense, worries forsome pitchers and hand out their April MVG (Most Valuable Guard). The Guys close the show (45:42) talking about the NFL Draft. The Guys start by looking back at the best (pretty easy) and worst (too many choices) Browns’ draft picksin their life times. The Guys also look at the 2026 selections and the needs the team may still have after 3 rounds. Finally, the Guys finish with a discussion about… what else… who should be quarterback. The Guys are also unusually excited about the lineup and potential one of the most potent offenses for the team in the last ten years. The Guys close their look at the Guards' 2026 season by looking at the tendency of the team to overperform estimates and their views on the team's playoff hopes. The Guys come back after a short break (27:00) to discuss the Cavs as the regular season winds down. The Guys talk about health issues, the team still trying to figure out last month’s big trades and look ahead to the upcoming playoffs (F Boston). After wrapping up Cavs talk, the Guys start the long look ahead to the next Browns season talking free agent moves and the upcoming draft. The Guys start the show talking hope for the new look Cavs as things start to come together after the big trade forJames Harden and the little trade for Keon “F-ing Ellis”. The Guys also look ahead to what they hope they are discussing about the Cavs in next month's show. Next, the Guys take a swing at the start of spring training and the Guardians offseason moves… or lack thereof. The guys also talk about what they hope the Guardians find during spring training. In their second segment (26:31), the guys dive into a double shot of All Ears. First, the guys break down “What a Time to be Alive”, the latest album from The Lone Bellow and describethe sound of this roller coaster, their favorite songs on the album and put on the Bourbon Scale. After that, the Guys do almost the exact same thing with Mumford and Sons' latest album- “Prizefighter”. The Guys discuss lyrics, feeling, and where the songs fit in the next season of Ted Lasso.
