Luminiscence Behind the Scenes with Clayton Ferguson

Banijay Americas announced that LUMINISCENCE, its immersive show created by LOTCHI, part of Banijay Live, opened at Sacramento's Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on September 17, 2026. The Sacramento run is part of Banijay Americas' growing international reach, which turns notable sacred and historic spaces into settings for music, storytelling, and digital artistry. Performances continue on select dates through the end of 2026, in three versions: live choir and orchestra, live choir only, or recorded music with voice-over. The Cathedral is lit with 360-degree video mapping while guests hear the story of the landmark's history. Bishop Jaime Soto is quoted saying there could be no more fitting home for the show than the Cathedral, and LOTCHI co-founder Romain Sarfati praises the building's architecture and its place in Sacramento's history. Ticket prices vary by type of experience, discounts are available, and details are at luminiscence.com/sacramento. Clayton Ferguson is the Executive Producer and General Manager at Banijay Americas, where he oversees Luminiscence North America—an ambitious live entertainment venture blending storytelling, technology, and large-scale audience experiences. With more than two decades at the intersection of creativity and commerce, Ferguson has led global initiatives for powerhouse brands including Disney, NBCUniversal, Marvel, Sony, and Warner Bros. His work spans theme park development, touring exhibitions, and immersive productions tied to major IP such as Harry Potter and Jurassic World. In September, he brought that expertise to Sacramento with the debut of Luminiscence, a groundbreaking experiential production set to anchor downtown as a new cultural destination.
