A Kingdom of Priests, A People of Presence - Audio

August 16, 2026: A Kingdom of Priests, A People of Presence Call To Worship: “Rest On Us” Worship In Song: “Holy Forever” “As the Deer” Message: A Kingdom of Priests, A People of Presence Speaker: Rev. Tyler Jernigan Key Verses: Ezekiel 44:10-16 (NKJV) Priests = someone who has been brought near to God and entrusted to bring others to God. Revelation 1 Peter 2:5, 9 (NKJV) Leviticus 18:2 (NKJV) Romans 12:1 (NKJV) Psalm 27:4 (NKJV) 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NKJV) Psalm 132:1 (NKJV) If our hearts and desires are not with His, then why would He give us what those hearts and desires ask for. Glory is found in our pursuit of HIm. Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) We have to surrender everything to HIm. Our dreams, pursuits, finances, attitudes, etc. Our ministry should be to Him first! Leviticus 6:12 (NKJV) The priests were to keep the fires going. Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV) Do all you do for the Glory of God! Worship always involves sacrifice. In Genesis 22 we learn Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son Isaac. Revival is supposed to be a lifestyle. Not a Sunday to Wednesday event twice a year. In Psalm we learn that God inhabits His people. Priests carried the presence of God. They guarded the sanctuary. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. He dwells in us and not between actual walls. We become a house of presence when we let God into ourselves and we take Him out to others into the “marketplace”. Prayer becomes a part of our identity when we keep our relationship close to God. When we want to keep conversation with God daily. Become a house of consecration. In Ephesians 4 we learn God gave pastors, leaders, and teachers for the ministry of the gospel. In Isaiah 6 we learn about the King of Uzziah dying. Sometimes we have to let our “King Uzziah” die. Say - “Here I am Lord. Use me!” Would you refrain your idea of church from being an institution to seeing it as a dwelling place of God? How easy would it be to take the power of God into our daily lives so people ask you where you go to church?
