S12E6: Having Favorite Teams is Dumb

Greg, Mike and Mark unpack why having favorite teams can feel miserable after a disaster in their sports fandom, then look for a few winners to turn the week around across college football, international soccer and the MLB postseason. They also move through tennis, the South Point 400 from Las Vegas, the World Grand Prix in darts, the WNBA playoffs, UFC 332 and Week 4 in the NFL. The episode tracks where the betting edge might still be hiding across a packed sports slate. Listeners hear the crew react to Luke Littler bowing out early, the MLB postseason arriving and the WNBA playoffs in full swing. Plus they give out all their NHL futures and preview the upcoming season. It is a sharp snapshot of a chaotic week across the college gridiron, Major League Baseball, the WNBA postseason and a full NFL weekend. The conversation keeps circling back to fandom, frustration and the search for wins when sports are built to make you miserable.
