I might have started running before you or practically ever runner you know. In fact, I may have started running before most people you know were born. Me, I started running as a young kid in 1975. I've never run a marathon. Not yet anyway. I've decided it's time and I welcome you to join me! Here we're going to chat about running, recovery and finding faith again.

    Young Runner Problems

    I spoiled myself with a super fast metabolism when I was young because I ran a lot. In my adult years, keeping weight off became a major struggle.

    I'm in training for MY FIRST MARATHON!

    Thanks for joining for - In training for MY FIRST MARATHON - since 1975. I'm Paul and I've probably been running longer than you have. Actually, I've probably been running longer than most any runners you know. So, why....am I just now beginning training for my very first marathon? On this podcast, I will try and explain.  I'm gonna chat with you about running, faith and recovery (from all kinds of bad stuff).  Thanks for joining me!     What if you actually CAN?

    I didn't realize I was lying to myself when I told myself I couldn't run.  My reasons for not being able to run were fake not fact.

    I was fast and now I am SLOOOOW - and that's okay

    I told my good friend, Big Steve the other day how slow my running time was and he said, 'hey buddy, you are lapping everybody who is on the couch."  I like that.  We all get old if we live long enough. Some of us struggle with weight. Some with illness. Some of us struggle with other demons. If you are running... you're in the race - and that's all that matters.  #trainforamarathon
