    Episode 9: Pride

Pride is very destructive to the believer's spiritual growth. The devil wants nothing more than for you to think you can live this life on your own. Folks, only by the grace of God can we live a life pleasing to the Lord. Examine your life today and ask God to remove any pride in your life. He is for you, never against you.  James 4:6 "But He giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."

(David) Building on The Foundation (feat. Ademola)

Hello everyone, thank you for joining us on today's episode of LightAmongDarkness. It is very important for you to build your life upon Jesus Christ. He alone is a sure foundation for us to build our lives on. Any other foundation will crumble in the day of trouble. God bless you!  Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Matthew 16:18  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

He wants to use you!  joshua 24:15  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Going to church is awesome, but BEING the church is even better. Today we want to encourage you to think about your church and where you are.
