I came from a creative background myself: Fashion design degree, Psychology and ART degree, UX design degree. And although I love colors, paint dripping and play dough food- it is always hard to keep the house clean at the same time! So I've started dreaming about a space where all the kids can do whatever crafts they choose and keep the artistic mess happening. The name Picassito belongs to all the kids who are our little artists by birth. As Pablo Picasso said : "Every child is an artist", we incorporate this mission allowing all the kids come and try art easels and crafts, no matter if they have any experience or not. Our studio intentionally has no classes for children to work independently and feel free to choose any materials/crafts they like.     Sergio Gomez is a visual artist who has recently made the move from Chicago to South Florida. He is known for his striking large-scale figurative abstraction paintings and charcoal drawings that delve into the profound cycles of life. With a compelling artistic career, Sergio's work has been featured in over 45 solo exhibitions across the United States, as well as in museums in Romania, Italy, Mexico, and Vienna. In addition to his solo exhibitions, he has participated in over 150 group exhibitions in a wide array of countries, including Spain, Sweden, Mexico, Austria, Italy, South Korea, England, Kairo, Belgium, and the United States. His work has been acquired by prestigious public collections, such as the National Museum of Mexican Art and the Brauer Museum, as well as in the homes of avid private collectors. Beyond his studio practice, Sergio Gomez has curated over 100 exhibitions in the US and abroad. His extraordinary journey as a curator began in 2010 and has since unfolded through various influential roles, including his current position as the Director of Exhibitions at the Zhou B. Young and motivated, he began studying Jazz in high school and elaborated on his technique with education in Ballet, Acting and Movement Theory in college. Since high school, Pablo has been honing his performance skills; Malco’s professional career started in 1991 when he began to appear in several music videos, commercials, concerts and tours with products campaigns and artists such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Appleton Rum, Nescafe, Arsenio Hall, B.E.T., Paula Abdul, Skat Kat, College Boyz, Immature (IMX), Lil Wayne, Jason Derulo, Mims, , Ricky Martin, Will Smith, C&C Music Factory, Jean Michel Jarre , Sugar Hlll Gang, Jessica Simpson and many more. Pablo has choreographed for various commercials, music videos and concerts for artists both nationally and internationally. In his later years Pablo enjoys creating and providing opportunities for aspiring and professional artists. Malco founded the Developing Dreams Foundation in 2007 a not for profit (501c3) as a way to create more platforms to host performing artists. He has produced over 100 shows, written multiple musical theatre productions and continues to share his expertise all over the world.
