    Episode #8 David Nance

    This episode was recorded near the beginning of May with my dear friend David Nance. David lives in Omaha NE, he is a prolific musician, with many amazing releases under his belt. I’ve been lucky enough to have crossed paths over and over in both of our hometowns during tours and definitely find him and his family to be a comfort along my journeys.     Episode #2 Kayla Cohen - Itasca

    Without binding itself to an era, I find Kayla Cohen's project, Itasca, existing in a place: blooming as a wash in the desert heat, unwavering and unyielding to the elements, thriving in the hills of East Los Angeles or a New Mexico winter, standing ground and consciously existing in the space between the harshness of the wild and the paved. Her guitar playing intricate and bright, dense and piercing, it pulls the listener through the movement as much as it pushes it along. Looking forward to sharing this conversation we had. His previous projects include - Kathy’s Clown, Bliss UK, Sarah Johnson, The Liz and Rosesucker. Here, we talk about perfume, Jimi Hendrix, sunshine, why guitar is still cool and break down some of how this record was made … interviewing and being interviewed are new things for both of us but I think we catch our stride.
