Addressing Generational Sin, Releasing Control, & Encouraging Women (w/ Lydia Summer) - Episode 14
(Friends! This week we are giving away a free copy of Splendeur Magazine's first issue! Be sure you're following our Instagram to see all the details! This magazine is designed to encourage women to be who God created them to be, empower them to use their gifts to glorify Him, and to equip them to go and make disciples in their field, all without worry or strife. 👏)
I have such a dear friend and incredible woman of God on the podcast this week! Lydia Summer is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Splendeur Magazine, an incredible magazine for Christian women. They actually just released their first issue, and I'm so excited to be able to share this conversation with you today.
Here's what I love most: Lydia isn't coming on the show this week just to talk about Splendeur. She wanted to join me on the show to talk about something God is doing within her heart: Helping her address generational sin. Specifically anger.
This is such an incredible conversation on addressing generational holds in our life, experiencing God through His Word, being honest about our anger, living life in humility, and so much more. I believe this will be a big encouragement to you this week!

Spending Time in the Presence of God (with Amy Robbins) - Episode 13
Friends, my guest today is a huge delight to have on the Wandering Wilde Podcast! I think of Amy as a soul sister, and I know you’re going to love her as well. Amy and I first met when I photographed her family years ago, and I loved recounting some really powerful words she spoke over me even way back then.
Amy Robbins is a pastoral counselor with nearly two decades of experience in helping individuals with a wide range of issues. She is passionate about helping people get free, truly know who they are in Christ, and experience the Father’s presence. She and her husband of 21 years live in Austin with their two children.
In our conversation today, we have a powerful conversation about spending time with the Lord, what that looks like practically, why we can have as much of Jesus as we want, how allowing ourselves to be loved by God impacts life around us, and why it's okay to not be strong all the time. I just know you’re going to leave this episode feeling the invitation to draw closer to the Father.

A Conversation With My Husband on Spiritual Growth & Experiencing God in Hard Seasons (with Zach Zobrist) - Episode 12
I feel like I always say this, but I seriously am so excited about this week's episode! It's a unique one as I have the opportunity to welcome my husband, Zach, onto the podcast. Zach and I have known each other for around 10 years and have been married for 7. We have 5 children 5 and under, a 6th on the way, and a new puppy, so if there's ever been a season we need to be in God's Word, it's this one! 😆
This may go without saying, but I love Zach a whole lot. He balances me out, he is a great encouragement and support to Wandering Wilde, and he is seriously the best at developing helpful analogies for spiritual living!
In this episode, we talk about how we experience God differently, how spiritual growth mirrors physical fitness, encouragement for both men and women in their spiritual walks, the true value of community, and a whole lot more.
It's so exciting to have Zach on the podcast and I can't wait to hear what you take away! I'd also encourage you to share this episode with your spouse, using it as a launch pad for some important conversation! ❤️

Experiencing God’s Presence Through Prayer (with Jennifer Jackson) - Episode 11
I know I always say it, but friends, I’m so excited to share this guest and episode with you! Spoiler alert: we talk about prayer. I think prayer is a component of our walk with God that many of us feel insecure about, so I’m thankful Jennifer and I were able to have a conversation surrounding it!
Jennifer Jackson has such a passion for supporting women in their journey with Jesus. She has served in many ministry roles over the past 30 years, including international missions, children’s ministry, and women’s ministry. She and her husband Doyle live in Columbus, Ohio, and she loves mentoring women by helping them discover what God is offering them.
In this episode, we talk about how we experience God’s presence in prayer. How to pray, where to pray, when to pray, what keeps us from prayer, and more. Jennifer spoke to many seasons of life during our conversation and encouraged us in such grace-filled ways. I know you’ll end your time listening feeling equipped in your prayer life!

When You Feel Hurt By the Church (with Kristen Joy) - Episode 10
Friends, I cannot wait for you to listen to this episode. It had a profound impact on me, and I know it will for you, too.
Kristen Joy and I met thanks to mutual friends and the online world, but I already feel like we are soul sisters! She is a wife, homeschool mom, former pastor’s kid, and a pastor’s wife. Through her own family’s experiences, Kristen is passionate about encouraging and coming alongside those hurt by the Church.
In this episode, we talk about Kristen’s personal experience with the Church, where God is in our suffering, how we attach our view of God to human leadership, and what a healthy church looks like. You’ll hear Kristen’s passion on why we shouldn't give up on the Church, and I know you’ll walk away from this episode with hope!

Fall in Love with God's Word (with Brittany Ann) - Episode 9
Raise your hand if you wish you read your Bible more often. I imagine if we were in a room together, you’d look around and see everyone’s hand up. Friend, so often we live with unrealistic expectations and guilt-ridden reflections about our time spent in God’s Word. That’s why I’m so excited for you to hear from my friend Brittany today!
Brittany Ann is an author, speaker, and founder of EquippingGodlyWomen.com, a popular website dedicated to helping Christian women of all denominations be ALL IN in faith and family. She’s also a wife, mom to three, and an avid chocolate chip cookie lover. Most of all, Brittany is passionate about helping women take their faith off the back burner.
In this episode, we talk about common roadblocks to reading the Bible, lies we’re all often telling ourselves, and practical solutions for overcoming these hurdles! I know you’re going to walk away with encouragement to strengthen your faith, trust, and relationship with the Lord.
