For 20+ years she has worked with public, private, private equity, government, tribal, and nonprofit entities in a variety of industries including aerospace/engineering, banking/finance, healthcare (including FQHCs), insurance/workers’ compensation, manufacturing, technology/software asset management, transportation and utilities. Throughout Merryman’s career, she has managed compensation plans for executives and boards of directors, coordinated the preparation of CD&As for proxy statements, and managed deferral communications and enrollment. She has conducted total compensation package reviews, conducted comprehensive market studies, created salary structures, and designed incentive plans. She has extensive experience with targeted peer group proxy studies for public company clients and Form 990 studies for non-profits, as well as board compensation reviews. In this episode, Richmond SHRM Voices Podcast sits down with Jillian Tyree, Market Director with global talent solutions firm Robert Half, based in Richmond, Va. to discuss how a contingent workforce can help build business agility during this time of uncertainty of future economic fallout. Jillian Tyree oversees multiple practice areas: contract finance and accounting, permanent placement, management resources, full-time contract talent, and administrative and customer support. In her role, Jillian focuses on business development and recruiting, while managing and training her teams, overseeing operations in three offices, two in Richmond and one in Norfolk.  Jillian holds 15 years of experience in specialized talent solutions at Robert Half. She has been with Robert Half since 2007 and has served as Practice Director, Branch Director, and Metro Market Director.
