    Im In The Thick Of It

    Send us a text Welcome to The LionsNest! Hiii my friends, sorry these episodes are always dropped so spastically, but so is life. When I say I'm in the THICK of it I mean it. With a 7 year old, a 1.5 year old and a new puppy life is crazy these days. IN this episode I express my gratitude for each and every one of you who is sticking by my side and listening when you get the chance. I also chat about the difficulties of our new puppy and the unexpected health issues that came with it, I also talk about throwing out all my "strict" rules I had as a parent from when Sawyer was little and that I go with the flow more with Sasha.     How Has It Been 8 Months?!

Last year was one of our toughest years we've had. But we have persevered and been having a better year. In this episode I catch you up on what the girls are up to and what our current challenges are. I also talk being on a new health journey. its a little long and also probably doesn't make up for not being behind the mic the 8 months but i think its a start.     They Don't Know That We Don't Know

It all feels a little different when you know this is your last one. Then I chat about Sawyer and what I hope to work on for myself with her this school year, my main thing is not projecting my own insecurities about school on to her. Also I wonder what type of maturity will come from this year too, because first grade is a big step from kindergarten, or least it feels like it.     Love Is All That Matters In The End

    Hello, Is It Me Your Looking For?

    Send us a text Welcome to The LionsNest! Oh HI, I went a couple months without recording, Sorry about that! But Im happy to be back today, Im happy to tell you I plan to be back more often...Hopefully! having two kids is hard, going through postpartum is hard, shit I've had a hard year so far, but Im  making progress and thats all that matters. If your up for it this week I get real vulnerable and tell you about how motherhood is getting to me emotionally, Im overstimulated every day, I don't feel like myself and on the off chance I do feel ok, I then look in the mirror and I get reminded of what I look like and its not what I thought. Motherhood is hard, don't get that mistaken for me being ungrateful, Im very happy to be a mom I don't regret that at all but I can still think its hard and I can still complain about it!     Im A Work In Progress With A Dash Of Rage

    Send us a text Welcome to The LionsNest! Well I meant to be back more consistently but here I am back after another long break. Life is wild with two kids, I never feel like I can think straight, all I want is some peace and quiet or like just to watch a movie in peace, but thats not my phase of life at the moment. But honestly things are good, we are finding our new normal. I do think my mental health has taken a little bit of a hit, Im not experiencing PPD but I feel more emotional and a little bit of rage this time around.     Oh Baby, Baby, Im Back!

It was completely different and not what I had imagined but it ended up perfectly! Sawyer is beyond happy to finally be a big sister and we are all adjusting to the new addition.     I Don't Want My Insecurities To Become Hers

    Send us a text Welcome to The LionsNest! Join me this week as I chat my last couple week of pregnancy and even though I wished for this, it still doesn't make it any less hard. I also talk about how the most challenging thing I've done as a parent so far is teaching my kid to read. It is so hard to explain the english language but what Im realizing is that I grew up with issues around reading, and I think Im over compensating with my kid, I don't want her to go through what I went through. So Im trying to tell myself it'll be ok, I need to relax and it'll all work out.
