    159. You're Not Behind, You're at Capacity (And That's Okay)

What would your life look like if you locked in for the next six months? In this episode, I'm getting real about what it means to truly lock in, not by working endless hours, but by being intentional about your energy, your priorities, and the life you actually want to build. After returning from the Fundadoras Circle Dinner in Phoenix and navigating new motherhood, I share the honest, vulnerable journey of hitting capacity, letting go of what no longer serves me, and stepping into the next version of myself. If you're a Latina founder who's been playing small or carrying way too much, this episode is your sign to take up space, fully and unapologetically. 3 Action Steps to Lock In for the Next Six Months: Acknowledge Your Capacity 8:35 — Get honest about what you're carrying. If you're at capacity, say it out loud. Let go of what's not truly yours to carry so you can focus on what fulfills you. Use my GAME Framework 17:44 — Start your day with Gratitude, build an Action plan, practice Mindfulness (journaling, meditating), and Exercise/move your body. This daily framework creates clarity and helps you connect with yourself every single day. Invest in Yourself 19:19 — Get into rooms, programs, and communities that will stretch and elevate you. Whether it's a coach, a mastermind, or an event, investing in yourself is what fast-tracks your next level. Ready to lock in? If you're a Latina founder ready to expand your visibility, purpose, and impact, I'm personally inviting you to the Fundadoras Circle Mastermind. We kick off June 11th, and together we'll do the real work: breaking generational cycles, building something bigger than ourselves, and stepping into the next level — together. Schedule a call with me to learn more and claim your spot.

    158. 4 Ways You Can Show Up Right Now for our Immigrant Community

Amiga, if you’re feeling the heaviness right now, I feel you. This is my first episode back from maternity leave, and I could not come back without acknowledging what we are collectively experiencing. With everything happening around ICE and the way our immigrant communities are being targeted, this moment feels deeply personal, especially for those of us who are first-gen and daughters of immigrants. This isn’t just politics. This is trauma resurfacing. This is fear we grew up with showing up again in real time. In this episode, I’m holding space for the emotions many of us are feeling fear, sadness, anger, helplessness, and I’m also sharing simple, intentional ways we can activate, resist, and take up space as Latina leaders right now.   ✨ What I Talk About in This Episode Why what’s happening is retraumatizing for so many first-gen Latinas How growing up as daughters of immigrants shaped our fear, resilience, and leadership Why silence is often rooted in privilege and why some people don’t have the option to speak How to show up with intention instead of pressure or performative activism Why becoming the best version of ourselves is a powerful form of resistance   🔥 Ways I’m Inviting You to Take Up Space Right Now 1️⃣ Share Your Family’s Story (If It’s Safe to Do So) Stories humanize what systems try to dehumanize. Take action: Share how your parents’ sacrifices shaped your life Highlight what your family has built, contributed, and overcome Center pride, resilience, and legacy, not just survival This isn’t about exposing anyone, it’s about reclaiming the narrative. 2️⃣ Share Your First-Gen Perspective Your experience matters, not just your parents’. Take action: Talk about what it meant to grow up between two cultures Share how being first-gen shaped your ambition, work ethic, and leadership Name the complexity of never feeling “enough” of either identity—and still persevering Your story helps others feel seen and helps shift public perception. 3️⃣ Share Vetted Resources Responsibly Our communities are scared and that fear is valid. Take action: Share trusted organizations that offer legal aid, support, or advocacy Be mindful of how you share resources (some fear being tracked) Share resources for both: Those directly impacted First-gens and allies who can take action (donating, volunteering, voting, organizing) Not everyone can speak but you can help amplify support. 4️⃣ Show What Getting Involved Looks Like (If You Have a Platform) Visibility can be powerful when done with care. Take action: Share how you are getting involved (volunteering, donating, organizing, supporting) Show alternatives to protesting because activism doesn’t look one way Normalize participation in ways that are accessible, safe, and sustainable Representation matters even in action.   ✊🏽 The Most Powerful Form of Resistance Becoming the best version of yourself. Resistance also looks like: Taking care of your physical and mental health. Getting your finances in order and building wealth. Starting the business you’ve been putting off. Becoming consistent with your goals. Sharing your thought leadership boldly. Creating a head start for the next generation. Your success, health, and growth are acts of resistance in a system that was never built for us to thrive. Gracias Amiga y vamos a lograrlo juntas!
