Episode 109 Your Body Knows: Stop Romanticizing What Hurts

In this raw, unedited heart-to-heart from Catarman Island, I guide you back into your body and into honesty. We talk about romanticizing what isn’t nourishing you, convincing yourself something is “okay” when your nervous system says otherwise, and the courage to face what is real, in your relationships, health, finances, and inner world. Clarity begins when self-betrayal ends. Regulate your nervous system. Get honest. Then take aligned action. If you feel called to deeper work, email me at genozajoanne@gmail.com 5 Highlights from Episode 109 1. A Full-Body Check-In Practice A guided somatic scan to reconnect you with what is truly alive in your body, not what your mind is narrating. 2. The Danger of Romanticizing Reality Why imagination is beautiful for manifestation but destructive when it blinds you to misalignment. 3. Words vs. Actions in Relationships If someone says “I love you” but their behavior contradicts it, your body already knows the truth. 4. The Self-Betrayal Signal If you constantly have to convince yourself, negotiate, or justify… it’s not aligned. 5. The Path Forward: Regulate → Get Honest → Act Nothing changes until you change. Clarity requires nervous system regulation and aligned action. Episode 105 The Clown Test: When Life Sends Distractions in Costume

In this raw, unedited, heart-to-heart episode, Joanne invites you to slow down, soften your body, and come home to the deepest chamber of your heart. Wherever you are, walking, driving, resting, this episode is an invitation to pause and breathe. To notice what is alive in you right now. To take ownership of your emotions instead of letting them run your life. Not from judgment, but from maturity, self-respect, and power. Through gentle breath guidance and contemplative inquiry, Joanne guides you to ask the questions that matter most: How do I desire to live this one precious lifetime? Who and what truly matter to me? What quality of relationship do I desire with myself, my work, and my inner circle? What kind of human do I wish to be at the end of each day? This episode explores the nature of distraction, how life tests us when we’re walking an aligned path, how seduction often comes disguised as entertainment, and how awareness itself is strength. You’ll hear why losing focus isn’t failure, but noticing and returning is resilience. Again and again. Joanne shares a powerful metaphor between meditation and life: just as the practice is to gently bring your attention back to the heart, the practice of living is to return to your deepest “why” whenever you wander. You’ll be reminded that: • Your heart’s desires are your North Star • Discernment is an act of self-love • Boundaries protect your life force • Focus is devotion • Being selective is not selfish, it’s necessary This episode is a quiet reckoning with time, energy, and choice. A reminder that not everything deserves access to you. And that when you are clear, centered, and aligned, you become both deeply valuable and profoundly powerful. Listen when you feel scattered. Return when you’ve been distracted. And trust that every time you come back to your heart, you are strengthening your life. Episode 103: From Urge to Alignment: Choosing What Feels Right in the End

In today’s episode, recorded after leading the first Full Moon Women’s Circle of 2026. This episode is an invitation into a simple yet powerful self-leadership practice: Before you act, ask yourself How do I want to feel in the end? How do you want to feel after doing the thing? How do you want to feel if you don’t do it? How do you want to feel at the end of your day… Before you fall asleep… At the end of your life? So many of our choices are driven by short-term urges momentary relief, quick pleasure, or unconscious compensation for exhaustion. And while something may feel good in the moment, the regret that follows often drains far more energy than the action itself. When you lead your choices, you conserve your life force. You stop leaking energy. You stop justifying what drains you. And you begin creating a life that feels good now and later. This year, we are no longer compounding misalignment with more misalignment. We are choosing what serves us in the long run. We are choosing actions that leave us feeling clean, clear, and at peace with ourselves. Your true achievement is how you feel about who you became. Episode 102: Sacred Yes, Sacred No: Ending Connections with Integrity

Welcome to Joanne Genoza Podcast, Episode 102. I didn’t plan to record today. After creating multiple episodes in the last days of 2025 and recording again on January 1. I felt the familiar question arise: Am I committing to a daily podcast? Do I want that responsibility? In this episode, we explore something profoundly simple and deeply advanced: Your yes is sacred. Your no is holy. Because before we say yes to an invitation, a connection, an idea—we must ask: • Is this a full-body yes? • Does my chest expand? • Does my energy rise? • Or does my body contract, tighten, pull inward? A true yes energizes you. A true no protects you. We talk about how the nervous system communicates through heaviness in the belly, tightening in the chest, tension in the shoulders and why convincing yourself is often the clearest sign that something is not aligned. I also share why respecting your no teaches others how to respect you. And how emotional maturity looks like clean endings, not silence. Because every connection is sacred. Every person is a messenger. And when a connection feels complete, it deserves to be sealed with gratitude, honesty, and dignity. Ghosting is not strength. Avoidance is not kindness. Clear communication is self-respect. In this episode, we explore: • How to say no without guilt • Why forcing a yes leads to resentment • The energetic cost of obligation • The beauty of conscious closure • And how to end connections in a way that feels clean, respectful, and whole When you learn to open connections beautifully, you must also learn to close them beautifully. That becomes your standard. That becomes your signature. And people feel it. If you feel there’s a connection in your life that needs closure, completion, or energetic release, I offer 1:1 coaching where I guide you through cord-cutting, reflection, and integration so you can let go without bitterness and move forward with clarity.
