    Agony In The Morning

Hello my friends and audible enjoyers worldwide, welcome to what will effectively serve as my newest installment. Out of respect to Yung Lean's emergence at the VMA's I cold open the pod with Jonatan Aron Leandoer Hastad's Stranger album in Agony and Red Bottom Sky, followed by a slowed and throwed version of Boylife In EU. In my opinion, there are some cool moments in this episode, my favorite probably being how hard that mule kicks on Billie Jean. I see why it's the most sold album of all time because the master is literally masterful. This Thriller album kicks this subwoofer as hard as current day records, the kick being just slightly stronger than the bass line. Unbelievable sound in-house with the KRK white ghost studio monitors it really blew me away. This particular record sat in my grandfather's closet for who knows how long. Still sounding like this is really impressive. In other news, I painted a bookshelf today and will be rearranging the podcast room tomorrow. Trying to showcase the VHS collection and have a sick tower of power connected to a smaller TV in which I'll more frequently play VHS movies as well as my OG Xbox from my childhood. Most likely throwing a big bean bag in here as well. In other personal matters, I've redirected my focus in my Pokemon collection strictly to vintage Japanese. I've made the decision to master set some of the old Japanese Pocket Monster back cards which is quite the endeavor these days, but a feat that I'm well on my way to accomplishing. My most impressive deal secured this week, I managed to find vintage Japanese cards at 10 cents bulk price, so I bought 200 of them. After entering all of them into my portfolio, it went up $930 in value. I spent $24. Also I was able to catch up recently with an old buddy of mine. The fella who introduced me to Jai Paul's music about 15 years ago. I stopped by his home, met his family and blessed the kids with whichever Pokemon cards they wanted. The bro and his lady are master setting Snorlax and I was able to help in that area as well. Couldn't be more fired up about it. Yes, I am 33 years old. Yes, I do have enough Pokemon binders to absolutely crack your shoulder blade. I have an energy binder that would make your head spin. I'm deep in the game and it's not changing anytime soon. *Listening Expansion Status* I'm deeply humbled and excited to announce that this podcast has officially reached 106 countries. Top listening countries in order are USA, Singapore, Germany and India. A deeper dive into the stats reveals that I have had 2 individuals download my podcast from inside the Palestinian state, known as Gaza. I also have 2 downloads from inside the state of Israel. This fact really made me zoom out and think for a while. Nothing but love, blessings and prosperity from me to whoever hears these airwaves. At the baseline, I hope my music curations can take one person's rugged reality and change it for the better just for a little while. That to me, would be worth it. I hope that a human soul somewhere out there enjoyed this. Until next time.. Your Host with the Most, Witwicka Juan Don

    Chopped & Slopped

Hello to the audible participants of this podcast and welcome to what will effectively serve as my newest installment. I am proud to present Chopped & Slopped, basically a love letter to the slowed melancholy R&B feel that directly extends from the hands of the late honorable Robert Earl Davis Jr., better known globally as DJ Screw. As a vulnerable child, my musical taste was blindsided and eternally jaded by the beautiful, lush audible landscape that was founded by his hands alone. This new song, Choosin Texas is a remix of Ella Langley's song with samples from a past Drake song, as well as a sample from Bun B. It fired me up so much, I knew that I had to scrap my previous idea for this episode and enter a flow state around this musical feel. I recently have noticed that this listening audience is expanding. I have finished editing and recording this episode, or I would have made a little change. I have a new listener in Mumbai, India which if I would have known an hour earlier, would have prompted me to close the episode with Str8 Outta Mumbai by the Arch Bishop Jai Paul. I hereby promise to close next episode with said Str8 Outta Mumbai out of respect for that absolutely righteous individual. The thought of someone hearing slowed and throwed, chopped & slopped tunes for the first time out in Asia Minor, in Bangladesh, the brethren out in Singapore blasting this to the point that it's distorted. Thank you to the expanding listening audience for choosing to come back and see what DJ Witwicky has for the week. Thank each and every one of you for clicking on this thing. Until next time.. Johnny Tsunami

Hello to my friends across the globe and welcome to my newest installment. Starting us off with a run of original 45's including a double-feature from Sly and The Family Stone, as well as what most likely what would be my favorite portion of this episode, the live performance of Distant Lover by Marvin Gaye. That thing kicks like a mule and remains one of my favorite 45 pickups. I've recently developed somewhat of a sickness. Over the weekend, I found myself hopscotching from store to store in search of cool movies on VHS. Just today I finally found a copy of Goodfellas, which sent me over the moon. In that same lot, I walked away with Anaconda, Godzilla, Friday Night Lights, the first Pokemon movie. Speaking of which, I stopped by one of my local card shops as well and added another piece to the vintage Japanese Pokemon collection. Added Erika's Venusaur for those who speak the language. Just over a summer of trading I've amassed a Pokemon PC worth a down payment. Not complimenting myself or seeking glory, just telling my listening audience that this Pokemon market is wild and if you know what you're doing, if you can predict the market, if you can bend spoons with your mind? You can crush it in your local Pokemon scene. Whatever. Oh yeah, I found all 3 of The Godfather movies over the weekend as well, watched Godfather 1 by myself and cried. Sick move. I could barely get up and get a snack it was so good. Each scene is a master class in itself and that motion picture gets better and better each time I consume it. Thank you for choosing to listen to my nonsense and keep up with my life. Until next time.. Your Host with the Most, Johnny Tsunami

    Fire Burns Dimmer

Hello to my listening audience around the world. You have successfully clicked on what would effectively serve as my newest installment, Fire Burns Dimmer. I do usually like to upload an episode every week, which would in theory, make me a week late. In the last two weeks, I have secured another Japanese Sabrina's Gengar (a minty one) at a local Pokemon card show, I have amassed a VHS movie collection worthy of admiration and respect, also I have become a surfer. Apocalype Now was already in my Top 3 movies all time, if not my favorite? That was before I became a total surfer bro. That movie, Colonel Kilgore scenes in particular, mean so much more to me now that I shred monster waves and munch total grindage. I've been a busy bro to say the least. Searching local treasure troves for VHS movies has taken up most of my free time. Just today for instance, I was able to secure Shrek 2, Blow, a vintage Pokemon with 3 episodes on it as well as a sealed copy of Beauty and The Beast. Between Pokemon and VHS lately I've somewhat fallen off of the vinyl grind. Had the thought that my next pickup should be the Evanescence album with Bring Me To Life on it. So what. Hope you enjoyed yourself Frankfurt. Jump up and down Singapore. To the bros in Dubai I've always wanted a Peregrine Falcon as a pet. Maybe one day I'll DJ a New Year's Party at a resort in Dubai and take Oil Stocks and a Falcon as payment. Who knows. Until next time Your Host with the Most, Johnny Tsunami
