    My Thoughts on the Final Girl and Film Theory

    Hello my loves! I am back with another podcast episode! Spoiler alert for a couple horror films from the 70's, but I think you should have seen those films by now if you'd be stressed about getting them spoiled.     My Thoughts on Change

    Hey friends! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :) This one is quite the ramble, so be prepared for that okay. Today's episode I really just talk about lots of things. I give a long update about what I have been doing since the last episode, and also explain why it's been so long (I know I always have these types of explanations but this time I had a good one!) After kind of finally picking a topic I talk about change, most specifically in relation to how I have changed over the past year or so, and how the inner change and growth manifested itself into outer change and growth. Change is scary, but it can also be very important and lead to lots of good things. I am trying to continue working on realizing that! Again this one was a ramble but I wanted to talk and so I did, it was therapeutic for me and maybe entertaining a little bit for you!     My Thoughts on Media and Society

    Hi friends! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :) Today's episode is another school project related one, however this is a surprise one because my teacher didn't actually ask for this. (Hope you still enjoyed!) In this episode I talk about media and society, how they relate to one another, and my own personal thoughts and experiences on some of the subjects related to this topic.     My Thoughts on Language Education

    Hi friends! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :) In today's episode I once again have a very special guest, my roommate Sydnee! In this episode we talk about our experiences growing up bilingual, and how the school language education system helped or hindered our learning. We also talk about a few studies and look at how essential it is for children to begin learning other languages while they are young. This episode was slightly shorter and more structured but we still had fun talking about our experiences and learning more about it too. I, once again, had a great time recording with Syd.     My Thoughts On Dealing With Stress

    Hi loves! I am back again with another episode of my podcast :) In today's episode I talk about stress. What is it? How do we manage it? Tips to improving it?  Stress is something we all deal with, and especially that now is a time for finals, and as we are entering the end of the year, I know that stress and anxiety is really prevalent in all of our lives. In this episode I share some of the simple things I use to try and deal with stress and anxiety. Obviously these aren't going to solve every issue, but I have found them to be attainable and helpful for me whenever I need a little extra support.  At the end of the day make sure you all take care of yourself, I love and believe in you, and I know you all are going to continue to do great things!     My Thoughts On Recovery

    Hey guys! It's been a while but I am back. On today's episode you will hear another ramble of sorts, today I am talking about recovery and how my mental health has been recently. Recovery is a weird thing that everyone goes through, and I'm not sure how often I see the process of recovery be talked about. I felt a bit better today than I have in a long time, so I wanted to share that a little bit. I also use this podcast as a way of processing, so that is sort of what this is. Me processing my thoughts and feelings. Use this as a reminder to take a little extra care of yourself today, treat yourself, you deserve it.     My Thoughts On Mental Health Stigma

    Hey guys! Mental illness and stigma surrounding it is something that is very prevalent in our society today. In this episode I talk about what I have learned about mental health stigma, and how in some ways stigma has effected me personally. Stigma can not only negatively effect people with mental health in a social aspect, but it can inhibit them from receiving help, and can lead to more drastic problems.     My Thoughts On Existence

    I know right, big existential subject there. Here is my ramble warning, once I actually get into the topic it gets very rambly. I hope you can forgive me for this, and if you cannot, maybe this episode is just not your cup of tea. I don't mind honestly, I promise the next episode will be more well thought out and outlined, so please give that one a go instead once it is out. In this episode I talk (more like ramble slightly incoherently) about existence and how it is kinda ~insane~ that we are here and now, and that we impact things and people around us in the way that we do. I just felt sort of in my head about this tonight, because it is so crazy truly how we are such small parts of such a big system, but we are able to leave big marks on the world around us despite this fact. I apologize many times and try to explain why I am rambling many times, if you get to those points I'm sorry. Once again feel free not to listen, I promise not all of the episodes will be like this. (I honestly do not know why I am starting this podcast out this way, it is a very poor portrayal of how these are going to go. Whoopsies.) In this podcast I will talk about whatever I feel like that week, I might have other people on with me at points, just whatever ends up happening honestly. I might rant about whatever I have on my mind, or talk about sometime I learned, or tell a story from my childhood. Truly, the possibilities are endless. I had originally wanted to make this solely a mental health podcast, and I think there is still going to be a lot of that, but I wanted to talk about random stuff too so I felt like this could be a fun idea.
