    Season 5, Episode 96: Interview with Sarah Waisman (Rita) from Amazon Prime’s “Fallout” (2026)

    Fallout Season 2 is normally commended for expanding its post-apocalyptic world with remarkable, gritty visuals and strong performances in which I find it worthy, so much so, that it literally dives into New Vegas territory. The lore is expanded, the visuals are highlighted, and new characters have come to light. New characters such as Rita performed exceptionally well by the talented Sarah Waisman. It was wonderful to sit down and speak to Sarah to get a better understanding of the character Rita. Although she is only in one episode, the writers decided to focus on her for a particular reason and I believe that reason is that she will make a comeback in Season 3, opening her famous restaurant “Rita’s Café” after the Legion invades New Vegas. They will release all the controlled workers. And to make it more interesting, the Legion will also recognize their former cook, Rita and have her come back to making those delicious human buffets and trail mix. This is just working hypothesis, and I hope I am right! Bethesda and Fallout producers/writers, get on it!

    Season 5, Episode 95: Interview with Robert Strange (Red Pyramid) from “Return to Silent Hill” (2026)

    Return to Silent Hill is the latest version of the hit horror compendium video game series, Silent Hill. We will see the return of the famed monster, Pyramid Head, which for me is exciting. Apparently, there are some cool tweaks and fresh takes in this movie and my guest spills it all (no pun intended). Robert Strange, the new Red Pyramid in the Silent Hill Franchise, who was given a tough and physical role in which he delivered exceptionally well. Robert went into great detail about his character and costume process, also going into detail about the physical challenges of wearing the costume. Give Robert some props for what he has done for the horror community! Fun fact: Robert also starred in the hit series “Penny Dreadful” as a vampire! Which was his debut role, believe it or not! He also acted as Jack in Jack in the Box, plus a plethora of other horror movies. Clearly, this man is talented, and we all get to witness this in all of his movies.

    Season 5, Episode 94: Interview with Sophie Sloan (Aurora) from Dust Bunny (2025)

    Join me as I sat down with Sophie in her very first podcast interview about her debut role! This young and very talented actress delivered her role as the funny and courageous Aurora with an exceptional performance. We spoke about what it was like on set to work with three legendary actors: Mads Mikkelsen, David Dastmalchian, and Sigourney Weaver. The details about the energy and dynamic are priceless. We also discussed what she liked most about portraying her role and how she prepared. I am honored to have sat down with her; this is an interview that I will truly not forget.     Season 5, Episode 93: Interview with Tonya Kay (The Nymph) from “Girl on the Third Floor” (2019)

    Girl on the Third Flood certainly has some spectacular special effects, brutal violence and some excellent acting performances. Not only is the premise intriguing, but it also has great imagery, and the solid directing that nails the uncanny feeling of dread that can come with settling into any new home, let alone a house that’s tangibly spooky on its face, let alone one that comes prepacked with a legitimately scary history. In the third act, there’s a pivotal turn and I would like to know more about the house and its occupants, especially the nymph. Honestly, I can say that this movie definitely resonates for those who are into the supernatural and guano crazy, blood soaking murders, and hauntings. Tonya Kay who portrays the Nymph is the facilitator to all this (or portal as she eloquently put it). Set in the Chicago suburbs, the lore is based on a true haunting in which I believe delivers the storyline in a much more ghostly fashion.     Season 5, Episode 92: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Sarah French (Sunshine) from “Brute 1976” (2025)

    Brute 1976 is a solid horror movie that throws us back to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes days where there are desert-dwelling psychos who kill with thrill. The campiness of the classic group further mimics the bohemian feel of characters, each of whom personifies those slasher stereotypes we know and love. I can honestly say you will be afraid of those weekend getaways where everyone is targeted. Brute 1976 left me completely full on the type of horror I love. Sarah French: the award-winning actress who has been in more independent horror movies than I can count, she is what I would call pure talent. Not only has she impressed me her ability to act in every role given, but she has also left the impression that no matter what it takes, she will get the job done. Her role in Brute 1976 as Sunshine has definitely lit up the screen with her iconic gift to grab the essence of that character and bring her to life. If you have not seen this movie, I highly recommend it… If you want to travel back in time to revisit your love for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes, then you have to see this spot-on replica of the imaginative storylines. Brute 1976 is now on Digital: Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango, Apple Tv and many more platforms. If you’re a fan of 70s horror, then you have to see this!     Season 5, Episode 91: Interview with Devin DeVasquez (Clarissa Carlyn) from “Society” (1989)

    There is quite nothing else like this movie, a strange blend of comedy and horror that is equal parts funny, creepy, outright gross, and it deserves way more love than it currently gets. If we were to strip away the underlying soap opera tone, the hammy performances, and the slapstick comedy, this movie would be frightening. Devin with her amazing career that has spanned throughout the entertainment industry with various highlights: from being a former Playboy Playmate to having a relationship with Prince, plus much, much more. Let’s take a trip back to the “Golden Era” of horror where special effects and makeup were top notch! No CGI, no AI, but straight up blood pumps and prosthetics as to where you would believe it’s actually happening. Devin, who plays Clarissa – a central part of this cult classic cult horror movie, who delivered her role perfectly. She mentioned some of the physical (and psychological) challenges while filming and acting on set. My interpretation is that this movie has David Cronenberg written all over it, it’s that good. However, this is not a Cronenberg film, just good ole’ frightening horror with some bizarre twists. Make sure to catch this comedy horror on Fandango at Home and on Tubi.     Season 5, Episode 90: Interview with Rodrigo Luzzi (Reg McPhee) the Amazon Prime TV Series “Fallout”

    Although I went into Amazon’s Fallout adaptation with unsure expectations, the series Fallout is making a lot of headway, and it has proven to be one of the best post-apocalyptic shows. Every other primary character is exciting to follow in different ways but there are a few that stick out to me. I spoke to Leer Leary last week about his character Davey and I sat down with Rodrigo Luzzi who also plays a very unique and interesting character. I want to say that in Season 2, Episode 6 “The Other Player” is where we witnessed Reg’s breakthrough as a leader. And also recognize that episode being hilarious with the elaborate song and dance of “Uranium Fever” and it’s where we get to see Reg stand up to Overseer Betty (and he shoves a hand full of Jell-O cake into his mouth while locking eyes with Betty). At that point, there’s nothing to argue about because what else could have happened. Reg strongly believes in the welfare of the vault dwellers although he has been characterized as slightly delusional. However, it’s a great episode and the song and dance is perhaps one of the best scenes in Season 2. Moreover, I also predict that Reg is going to be the new overseer of vault 33.     Season 5, Episode 89: Interview with Leer Leary (Davey) from the Amazon Prime TV series “Fallout”

    I would like to point out that I have become overly obsessed with this series. Not only because I am a gaming nerd, but the show has proven to be a very successful project. The show is scary, intense, funny, weird, exciting, reverential, and somehow also optimistic – a feeling I have not received from apocalyptic fiction in some time. Also, there are a few characters that do stand out for me and one of them is Davey, portrayed by the awesome and very talented Leer Leary. Man, what an awesome interview with priceless information! Speaking to Leer and getting to know his character on the Fallout series was a blast. Like an onion, Leer peeled back all the layers to give us a breakdown about his character and what it’s like to work with his co-stars, and what it’s like on set. I can honestly say that I enjoyed speaking to him and this interview very, very much. I am very excited to see what his character brings in Season 3 which begins filming this year.
