    From the outside, Camp Almar looks like your typical summer getaway—complete with campfires, ghost stories, and a local legend about a masked killer known as 'The Doctor.' But in the 2025 sci-fi thriller Marshmallow, things are far from ordinary. We dove into how Kue balanced classic slasher dread with existential sci-fi twists, what it’s like playing a 'glitching' character, and how he brought such a vulnerable performance to life on set.     Season 6, Episode 38: Interview with Siiri Solalinna (Tinja) from “Hatching” (2022)

    I was thrilled to have sat down with the breakout star of the critically acclaimed 2022 horror hit, Hatching. Making her acting debut in a feature film is hard enough but doing it while playing a dual role—one a repressed gymnast, and the other a terrifying, blood-soaked monster—is next level. Siiri Solalinna did exactly that, delivering a performance that critics have called both heartbreaking and terrifying. Even though this was her breakout role, she beat out over a thousand other applicants who auditioned – apparently, the casting director chose Sirri because she has the talent. We dove into how she landed the role, what it’s actually like acting opposite a giant animatronic bird, and how she navigated such a heavy story at such a young age. We also spoke about how she had to mentally switch between the two personalities she had to portray, her background in sports and how it helped set her up for the filming experience, and the makeup process.     Season 6, Episode 35: Interview with Blake Lindsley (Katrina) from “Starship Troopers” (1997)

    Blake Lindsley, one of the most talented actresses to star in Starship Troopers and who had the most brutal, heartbreaking ends during the disastrous drop on Klendathu. Starship Troopers is a movie that was easily dismissed as a cheesy, violent sci-fi flick, but history has vindicated as one of the most brilliant anti-war satires ever made. She is a legendary roughneck! Sit down with me and Blake as she takes us behind the scenes of the Mobile Infantry. She went into detail about the physical preparation for the recruits, the preparation and technical mechanics for her horrific demise, the practical effects, and what she thinks would be a great recruiting video for the Federation here in 2026.
