Intricate Fantastical World-building & Storytelling

The three braids that seemingly start separate, collide by the finale.

The world, fantastical as it is, is rooted in real issues with stakes for even the ordinary, non-magical citizens. Underground religions, cults to things that should be forgotten, a shopkeep trying to get by with an ordinary citizen trying to keep his daughter alive. Two people coming together to try to make a change and even advocate for mental health through a breathing exercise to ward away the “monster” within.

One moment it’s for the kids with scary dragons and parables; the next is for the adults that realize these bedtime stories can teach us a lesson, too.

Finally, the creator incorporates “live” music to complement the story’s tension in a way that makes the storytelling one part audiodrama, one part fantasy movie.

The Moonlit Crow ,

The beginning of something wonderful

A fun and engaging series of adventures with atmosphere for days. My favorite part is also the live music accompanmyment and the voices. Lots of heart. I do agree with one of the other reviews about the sound-leveling/balance, but it is only the first few episodes, so I can see that as something that's easily tweaked going forward.

13-Minute Stories that Hold Your Interest

The stories are interesting, they hold your attention, and they are wrapped up perfectly at 13 minutes each. I enjoyed listening to all three episodes, and I look forward to more!
