    God is Faithful

    A good reminder walking into a new year is that God is faithful. This past year, I've thought a lot about God's faithfulness.     Being a Christian Pro-Athlete with Audrey Shin

    Being a Christian and and athlete can be daunting, and in some sports, feel impossible. However, Audrey Shin is living proof that it's not impossible to be a Christian and pursue a relationship with Jesus and be a dedicated, disciplined athlete.     Lessons from my first year of college

    Over the past year, I've grown in my faith, had both good and bad experiences, and LEARNED A LOT! I want to share a lot of the most important lessons I learned with you so that, Lord willing, you can learn these lessons now, from me, so that you can move forward and know even more than I did when I first started. This episode is for girls of all ages (although some mature content is mentioned), whether you're in college, about to start, or it's far off in the future.     Being a Christian Writer with Shira Rodriguez

    One of the best gifts that the Lord gave me through starting The Christian Girl's Tea Podcast was a friendship with the incredible Shira Rodriguez. She's simply an amazing human, and an even better friend, and I love her so much. BUT that's not all she is! She is now *drumroll please* a PUBLISHED author, with her short story "The Lost History of Lavender Lockbourne" being featured in Wild Blue Wonder Press' anthology, Novelists in November. (Spoiler: I definitely cried at one point of the story...) It was so refreshing to read a genuinely good story, with genuinely good themes and messages that didn't leave me feeling...gross after reading it. She's so cool. Anyway, join us as we discuss what it looks like to be a writer who loves Jesus and shares it both directly and indirectly, with a similar mindset to that of Romans 1:16...     Thoughts on Reading the Old Testament For Yourself

    I'm bring back that lil' "thoughts on..." series from last season to talk about one of my new favorite subjects: THE OLD TESTAMENT!! For so long, I convinced myself it was boring or not applicable to my life--SISTER, I WAS SO WRONG.
