    Where Is Your Parrish?

This week marks our families one year anniversary since moving to San Diego from Hawaii.  One year in and I felt God was asking me an important question- Where Is My Parrish?  I think He might be asking you the same thing.  You Parrish is where you wake, work, and worship.  This is your mission and God has given you everything you need to accomplish it. Where to start?  Switch up your guest list at your next BBQ!  #thursdaythoughts Learn More: thefathershousesd.org

    Mom Was Right!

Here’s a quick preview of the Mother’s Day message on Sunday at TFH at 10am. Mom was right! What’s first determines what’s next. When we dedicate ourselves to read what God has said we will hear what God is saying in every situation! “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ Some direction for this #nationaldayofprayer! ‭ #thursdaythoughts Learn More - thefathershousesd.org

    Start With a Fresh Filter

When it comes to marriage and relationships we tend to forget what we’re supposed to remember and remember what we’re supposed to forget. Pastor Cyndi talks about the importance of intentionally starting with a fresh filter every day. Let’s start over today! #thursdaythoughts Learn More: thefathershousesd.org

    How To Ruthlessly Eliminate Worry

“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?” Matthew‬ ‭6:25-27‬ ‭#thursdaythoughts Learn More - thefathershousd.org

    The Genesis of Joy

“That is what genesis of perpetual joy is persistent generosity.  It makes sense.  It takes cents.  Where my treasure is there my heart is also.  Jesus said it’s better to give than to receive.  This was not an invitation to a financial transaction but a spiritual transformation that happens every time I serve Him and others with the resources He’s entrusted to me. Redeeming April Fool’s Day!

Sometimes we feel a little foolish talking to someone about our faith, inviting them to church, or praying with someone in need.  The truth is that the most foolish thing we can do with the time we’ve been given on this earth is to waste it worrying about how we look or how we feel.  There are too many people headed into a Christless eternity and it’s our assignment, our Co-Mission (Mt. 28:16-20), to tell every person about Jesus every day!  Let’s redeem April Fool’s Day and be willing to look like fools if just for the chance that one more person could meet the Resurrected Lord.  Join us at The Father’s House for Good Friday Communion Service from 6-7pm and Easter Sunday Celebration Services at 9 & 11am.  Online live streaming at youtube.com/thefathershousesd or in-person at 1185 Linda Vista Dr, San Marcos, CA 92078. This Moment Was For Your Moment

I wasn’t expecting this.  Four random people from four different churches desperate for the presence of God found themselves in a spontaneous worship service at the top of Double Peak this morning.  God orchestrated this moment for your moment to meet with Him!  He wants to turn your “You Can’t” into a “You Will” (Joshua 17:18).  He wants to turn Your pain towards His promise as You enter His presence through worship right where you’re at.  “In the same way I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born.” (Isaiah 66:9) #thursdaythoughts
